Given strong movement in many of the queues today, I wouldn’t be surprised if Tuesday morning was a little light, with just a few stragglers from Monday’s drops being the subject of second efforts to find those them forever homes (there should be some stragglers, at a minimum, for the 3090 XC3 Ultra, the 3070 FTW3 Ultra and the 3070 Black).

For people receiving 3070s: Please post back whether or not you have an issues with the cards when they arrive/over the next month or so to show whether or not we have a "dead card" issue like a fair bit of 3090/3080 people seem to be having.
Since I have someone that's "waiting" on my 3070 FTW3 Ultra notification, I'd love to hear back from people getting them that they hopefully have no such issues... since it's a "different" PCB etc, I'm assuming it shouldn't have the same issues, but who knows.

Hi love your products and as a cruncher I have multiple GPU's from you I tried to pre-order an XC3 RTX3080 on launch a store has my money but I am wayyy down the list! If you want these things you’ve got to F5 the moment they drop - and then get lucky.
Also, at Best Buy, high demand items require that you wait for the page to finish loading; then you enter a cue to add to cart.
Also - Wednesday you’ll likely be able to buy a “b” stock 2080ti for like $700-800; it’s too much for 3070 performance, but it’ll meet your needs.

B-Stock 2080 Supers are that price, so I doubt the Ti will be that cheap. Can't speak for the 420 but the 280 does a really nice job. Doing nothing other than swapping AIO's my temps dropped 6C when I switched from a H100i to a 280 Arctic. FYI though .. the fans/radiator are really thick. If I recall correctly it was 7-8mm thicker than the H100i but it worked fine in my Lian Li PC011 Dynamic XL but even if my Meshify would take a 280mm AIO there was no way I was ever going to squeeze it in that case and have it clear my RAM.

I see ya haven't met me case yet. lol Onyx, meet Gabolton, Gabolton, dis be Onyx:  According to the site, the tubes on the 420mm are 450mm long, if so, I should be able to mount it up front... if it won't reach, then I'll have to make some decisions since my plan is to get a Hybrid card, which means I'd need room for a 240mm radiator for that plus the 420mm radiator for the CPU AIO. If all else fails I'll reinstall the brackets to mount the CPU radiator to blow in to nothing, ala this picture:  But right now I'm hoping it will reach the front, with it being mounted on fans that are on the front brackets, that shortens the distance it needs to reach by a good 50mm give or take, then I can put the GPU AIO up top, and I just gotta get airflow right to keep everything happy after that.

could someone dig up the dispersal on the 3080 cards... like an estimate of the reported queue spots per day of notify? I know someone posted it before but I cant find it. I am just trying to figure out when we are going to see dates like 9/26 for 3080s

could someone dig up the dispersal on the 3080 cards... like an estimate of the reported queue spots per day of notify? I know someone posted it before but I cant find it. I am just trying to figure out when we are going to see dates like 9/26 for 3080s

That's where they are at. As to numbers per day, they vary hugely. Might have none one day, then 40 the next day of the same card type. Usually the bigger numbers come out earlier in the week, but not always. There's no constant, or even close to it.
