Just wanted to say this queue system is excellent.

I'm 90% in agreement, but I don't like how the queue system is being implemented with the water cooled GPU's. I don't care if the queue is long. I just want to be on it so I can get on with my life. I'm busy. I don't have time to F5 all day JUST to be able to get on a queue. I'm in a quandary right now because my time stamp for the 3080 FTW Ultra is about 3.5 hours away. That puts me around the end of this month if things keep going like they have been. The problem is that I don't want a 3897 if a 3899 hydro copper is available. I don't care if I have to be on a queue until January. I would MUCH rather get a 3080 HC for another $40, but I don't want to cancel my auto-notifies for an air cooled 3080 until I'm safely in the hydro queue.

I don't like F5ing for my dinner either.  I would prefer the way the queue is working for the 3090/3080/3070 "dry" cards.  But, I can understand that EVGA may have received a boatload of questions/objections to months-long waits on the queue (with some queues having little or no movement at all).

The waterlogged cards are going to be limited in volumes, so I can appreciate that they don't want to create unending queues that stretch into 2022....

Regarding your impending decision, that is a tough one...I am not sure which path I'd take (either path, however, ends up with gaming goodness...). Good luck!

My queue number is at 10:20 so a bit over 5 hours away. I'm having a hard time deciding do I order this card if say I get the notification tomorrow or do I wait to see the reviews of the 6800xt. I think it's going to compete and win in a lot of cases but IDK. Tough decisions.

I cannot speak to the reviews of the 6800xt, but I did read some rumors of low inventory at launch....

What's the definition of insanity again?  Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result...something like that anyways.   I wish you luck making that decision...hopefully, no objectively wrong answers.

I haven't checked the last few hours of today (but will later), but as of right now flytraphk's date/time stamp is the most recent I have seen.

I have the 3080 XC3 Ultra queue as currently at 7:08 am on 9/17/2020 (again, I need to review the last two hours or so, so that may change by the time I circulate the end-of-day summary).  You are very close and likely to be in the next drop (Congratulations in advance!).

Same here @ javalina1.

I was sweating bullets about what I was going to do if the 3090 FTW Ultra came up before the 3080 but thankfully that looks like it's not going to happen since I'm just a bit over an hour away on the 3080 now. If I did more than just game and mess around on my computer the 3090 would be a lot more appealing but for 2x+ the price it just doesn't make sense for me to spend the $ on it.

Hey so I just wanted to see what the checkout process was, so I looked at the 3070 FTW3 Ultra. I didn't even put any payment information in, not did I hit "submit order" either. But my card on my paypal just got charged and I didn't even order it. What the hell is that? Will it go away? I have no intention of ordering it.

You were able to go to checkout for an out-of-stock card and Evga got your paypal info without you entering it?

I feel like I'm missing part of the story.

No I got an email for the 3070 FTW3 Ultra. I clicked it. I went to the order page, it showed where to put all my payment information, yeah? I looked at that page. X'd out. Didn't hit submit or enter anything.

Like 10 minutes later I got a 626$ charge on my AMEX from EVGA. That was the total for the FTW3.  But I didn't want to order it. My pending orders show nothing either. I find it weird how they withdrew without me actually submitting my order.

Even if it's just a test charge to prove the money is there, I've NEVER seen any website do that before. They usually charge 1$...not the full amount.

Good luck!

Well, the path I'm taking right now is having a bot monitor the EVGA webpage for changes. Hopefully I will be near a computer when the auto-notify button shows up and I can get myself on the queue before I get shut out (again). I wish I didn't have to do it, but I have no idea when auto-notify will pop up again and I don't have time to sit at the computer all day hitting F5.

I would email customer support and call first thing during their business hours tomorrow morning.  Given the lateness of the hour tonight, it is highly unlikely they shipped it already.

In short, you should be able to reverse this if you act quickly tomorrow morning.

Well see. I have no order to cancel. I received no order email. I have no pending orders in my account information...so yeah. Just hope it's a charge that disappears.

They're not even past 3:01 PT AM (6:01 AM EST)  time yet man.  You have weeks or months to go.

Wish I could give you my place in line. It's about to run out.
