mnelson999 Hi all! First post here :) I'm trying to follow the spreadsheet tracking, but seeing that the "3090 FTW3 Ultra" tab has a "REF!" error?
My Notify status is: 24G-P5-3987-KR 10/6/2020 1:42:13 PM PT No I'm upgrading from two Titan X hybrids (Maxwell) in SLI, and reaallllyy looking forward to the new card!
It remains broken for the time being. The last recorded email on that queue was 9/24/2020 15:00:49. My rough recollection is that there is about 100 data entries between that date/time stamp and 10/5/2020. I would think you are within 150 to 175 spots from the front of the line. Sorry I don't have better data....

Thehalfdemon Yep, EVGA lost a customer here. The queue system was great but this launch edition sku was a giant slap in the face. I'm 6:00 am for all 3 sku's only to find out they added another sku with a shirt shortly later and honored those first.
It was kinda screwy to do that...

My point was never about the shirt itself...I don't care about the shirt. That's beside the point.

Agreed. The issue was that we showed up at the appointed time. But that SKU wasn't available to "notify" on. It was 5 or so minutes later. And those sign-ups are going first despite the fact that it is the same card.... I don't know what to say other than...2020 strikes again. But, yeah, it feels a bit raw.

totally my man. don't know whether to laugh or cry... oh well, I'm in for the KR at 6:11... probably not the best time for I'm sure was a large amount of notify submittals.

This about the fact that 3 sku's were up at 6am... People signed up for those 3 skus... then a few mins later they added a 4th sku that is the "launch edition" and are filling those orders first even though the card is the exact same as we signed up for minutes before. They screwed over probably hundreds of people, maybe more by adding a 4th sku with a special price and gift after 6:00 am and then honoring those first.

can you link to any proof that these are being honored already? how do you know they are "first". I havent seen any posts that people are getting the emails to buy yet.

We will regroup around lunch time, get some food onboard, and look forward to the anticipated 3080 drop this afternoon. For those of us that have been here for awhile, it is about the marathon...not the sprint. For me, I just want to spot the finish line; I have a hole in my shoe (no joke, discovered it yesterday on my Chipotle run). I do think this morning was a blip. A big blip and one that stings a bit. But I continue to maintain that EVGA is the only company (other than a one off drop on the AORUS card last week) that is trying to mitigate the damage caused by NVIDIA's recklessness. I need this queue to work out for me; I need a card.

I asked the same thing. One thread member sent me a DM with the pic. I will track it down and post it on this post in a few minutes.

Preach! One thing will solve all this negativity: cards in more people's hands. Every minute we move in the queue, someone goes from upset to on top of the world. This afternoon is gonna be a good one!

EVGA still owes folks and apology and should honor the notifies that when in before they added a 4 sku... plan and simple

I signed up for a notify for the 2070 Super back on the 21st, it says Notify Sent Yes, but I never got anything. Checked spam and everything. So now I'm worried I won't get my 3070 notify either...

08G-P5-3751-KL 10/29/2020 6:06:58 AM PT I unfortunately put in a newer email than my original EVGA account, so here I am with a new account to hopefully grab a card after what, 6 weeks waiting for a 3080? Curious why the notify button is not tied to the account you are logged in with though, seems like a way to improve it to me..

They screwed over probably hundreds of people, maybe more by adding a 4th sku with a special price and gift after 6:00 am and then honoring those first.
That's pretty messed up. I would be pissed. Lots of people probably just clicked on the 3 cards that were there and left.

Thehalfdemon This about the fact that 3 sku's were up at 6am...
Ditto! EVGA mods, Jacob, could you please try to explain what happened. How you can add 4th sky and honor them first, jumping over already signed people??? You should do that after an hour or something, not after couple minutes and screw hundreds of people including me. An apology and explanation is expected.

The launch edition stuff was not cool.. at the very least an early notification was warranted. I was there on the dot at 6am and signed up for SKUs that were not launching on launch day, preempted by the launch edition 3070..

Okay, last post from me. I'll try to bring some positivity back... Just cancelled all my EVGA notifications, both 3080 and 3070. Removed Distill from Chrome. The hunt is over. I'm going to keep my 1070 for the foreseeable future. There's nothing wrong it. I can still play most games other than the most demanding at pretty high FPS at 1080p. While my 4K monitor won't be utilized like I wanted, it's fine, won't be any different than how I've been playing games for years now. I'll be purchasing Watch Dogs Legion momentarily. I'm sure I'll still have plenty fun with the game despite not having a new card. And when Cyberpunk comes out, the same will be true. Maybe I'll even get COD too, who knows. Won't be getting Valhalla for a while as I still need to finish Origin and Odyssey, but those are two more I guess I need to catch up on. To everyone still waiting for a card...I really hope you get one as soon as possible. I blame Nvidia for this historically god awful launch, but I do thank EVGA for making the best attempt at getting cards into the hands of as many people as possible. No longer am I frustrated or upset...I'm free. Free to play games. My 1070 will still get the job done just fine, and I guess that's what I should be thankful about. If it ever craps out, well then I'll rejoin the hunt, but no need to toss it aside right now. Time to go...game! Good luck to everyone still waiting!

Thanks for taking the time to write this and, more broadly, to participate in this thread. I am sorry this process went sideways for you. Enjoy your gaming! I imagine we will see you back here in 2022 for the launch of the 40XX series. I hope to not still be here waiting for my 3080. Be well.
