So I have 4 on my list

I did get 2 3090's a kingpin and a 3987 a while ago
I also got a 3060 months ago say April

So I need to remove 2 of the last 4 on my list correct?

Now are they going to be pushed back or honored where they stand?

I am inclined to keep the 2 hybrid's  they are my oldest pick's.

So if I do nothing EVGA will force the 2 oldest which are my hybrid 3090's

How far backwards do I go or do I remain where I am?
The rules have changed enough that I am losing track.

Choose two of the 4 cards that you really want and remove the rest.  As per JacobF's post, choose the two cards which are FTW3 Ultra and/or XC3 Ultra.  They will honor where they stand in terms of the times stamp.

I (maybe foolishly) took the butcher knife to my list as well.
3987:  Holding out hope/fear the hits this week (who would have guessed it sprinted 45 days forward so quickly).
3783...Probably a bad bet since it is less than a minute from my time, but has been halted in its tracks for some time.

BTW, great job on the T-shirt design.

Good luck.

I cut everything down to just the 3998 and the 3989.
Only ones I was really still interested in, since I watercool my rigs.

@enewt do you think can you provide an summary on how many cards were dropping weekly for each of the 30 series so that we can decide which is moving quickly. Now I can only see the queue movement for the last 24 hours. Is there any way to see how much the queue is moving for each card weekly.

Thanks

I don't have actionable insight on specifically how many units dropped to the queue per SKU -- only EVGA knows the actual numbers for sure.

In terms of reports that have reached me...I took a look at this last night (and based on the reports since July 2 (that's as far back as I went), I continue to believe that the 3987, 3967, 3897, 3797 and 3767 air cooled cards are the best droppers to the queues (the 3755 had a good drop recently, but I am unsure if that will continue)...I am not factoring in the 3060 or 3060 Tis into this equation, but the 3667-KL, 3663-KL and 3657 also receive regular drops). The 3953 also receives attention from EVGA from time to time.

But, to be clear, past drops are not necessarily an indication of future supply....

Yeah, this one might be stalled.  Tough decision if it should be kept as one of the two.  I don't think you will get any more insight than what the notify history suggests...

EVGA has made it very clear that the only guidance we will get is that Ultras are better bets for the air cooled lot, with hydro/hybrids being the ultra exception... meaning that they are lower likelihood regardless.  Although it is possible that some of the cards falling outside this guidance could land.  It just becomes a bad bet.

Got an email from EVGA:
Hello,

You are receiving this email because your account shows that it has three or more cards in the notify queue.

As we continue to monitor the queue to get cards to gamers sooner, we appreciate all the feedback to help us to improve the queue system.

Due to the overwhelming demand for the 30 Series Products, our first step was to close the notify queue until we can fulfill them. Management team then took an extra step to prioritize those that have not received a card versus others who have been able to get multiple GPU’s.

After reading the feedback, there were legitimate concerns about retroactively changing the queue function. We are sorry for any frustration this caused, this was not the company’s intention. Today we are going to make the following updates:

1. The queue system will be rolled back to the previous rule.
 a. Anyone who missed a card from Monday, October 4th, will be notified on the next release.
 b. EVGA will continue to send notifies through October 8th.
2. In order to get cards to gamers sooner, please go to the notify page here and keep selected your top two cards that you would like to purchase and remove the others.
 a. On October 11th, 2021 the system will only lookup and send notifies based on your two oldest entries.
 b. Going forward the queue system will only allow for two 30 series notifies on the current lineup.
 c. EVGA strongly suggests to keep the FTW3 ULTRA or XC3 ULTRA models due to consistent supply compared to limited supply on K|NGP|N, HYDRO COPPER and HYBRID due to supply constraints.
 d. EVGA is also going to be adding SMS verification to the checkout process for all notifications to catch bot orders.
3. The queue system will not be turned back on until the current queues are fulfilled.
4. The checkout window is 20 hours from the time of notification released.
EVGA appreciates your feedback to continue improving the queue system to deliver 30 Series cards into as many gamers hands as possible.

Thanks,

EVGA
This time they send it out for all people who subscribe more than 2 cards to give them a chance to reduce list to cards they really want. Good move.

From what I understand, we are not required to remove our notifies to get down to 2 now. So rather than remove our notifies now, we could just monitor the queue until one of the cards we are interested in gets close to our timestamp and then remove notifies to prioritize that card right? My timestamps are all terrible (at least 2 days to many months out) so it doesn't seem like I would lose anything by waiting to remove notifies.

However, starting October 11, 2021, the system will only lookup and send notifies based on your two oldest entries.  So it would be prudent for you to choose two cards (with the FTW3 Ultra and/or XC3 Ultra names) which you really want and remove the rest, otherwise you will be stuck with the two oldest entries when your time comes up in the queue.

It seems risky but mmshah's idea of monitoring the queue timestamps until one of the cards you want gets close still sounds like a good idea to increase of your chance of being notified for at least 1 card.  There is a chance your queue position will not move for the two cards you do pick as quickly as one of your other comparable cards in the queue system.

This idea would not work if EVGA automatically removes all your notifies except for your two oldest cards on October 11, 2021.

Re: New EVGA.com Notification Checkout Process 2021/10/06 12:43:47 (permalink)
EVGA could have made it easier for people, the list contains people who don't know that they need to purchase EVGA cards inside USA (have a valid address not a fright forward one, CC to be issued from USA); only applying that rule can reduce the queue drastically like 25-30% let's say? that new limitation is good for new customers maybe but what about loyal ones in the queue for over a year now - I'm one - and being asked to drop all other cards and so....
I know that weird times require weird *solution* , it could have been better.. now one person got to make multiple EVGA accounts to sign up for all cards, so you want 10 cards for example, you got to use 5 accounts, good luck with that EVGA, these 5 accounts are actually one..
