Hi guys, I've been waiting for a 3090 XC3 Black (3971). Last person to have purchased one from the queue was on the queue on September 24, 2020. I have never seen one reported in this thread. Officially a year for this to have moved in the queue by any measure. And this is not the only skew in this situation. There should be some remedy EVGA can come up with to satisfy customers who have been so patient. I understand they are not fully in control of what the factory allows the sales side to make available to us, but there has to be some thoughtfulness. Like consider us in queue to come ahead of new purchase orders for the 4000 series...because it is looking like the 4000 series will be out before many of us see movement in our 3000 series queues.
That is an excellent idea. If you suggest this in the feedback forum, I would like to know to second that.

I have a similar story as MsKrissie. In fact, she's my wife. We both bought pre-built gaming computers within a month of each other, but unfortunately hers didn't last long. Our plan is to purchase a GPU so she can build hers first. Then, I will re-build mine, utilizing a few parts from my pre-built. I figure I'll salvage the CPU and SSD. This right here ^^^^^ EVGA, please do something like this. Note event that I have been in the Queue the longest without any movement, but I think it would be great to see those that have been patient get first dibs on the Super Cards coming later this year/early next year. Even first dibs at a 4000 card. I don't know, I strongly agree with this sentiment if EVGA could make it happen.

Hmm I wonder if the rtx a4000 and rtx a5000 are shifting sales from the gaming side . Leaving the 3000 series just to the gamers.
I doubt it, but only EVGA (possibly) knows for sure.

Hi Philipma1957, I hope you don't mind me chiming in. I'm sure Dan will respond later to your comment, but he's at work right now. I didn't state what computer went bad originally, because I didn't want to sound like I was bad-mouthing a company. (My grandmother always taught me if you can't say something nice...) However, since you asked specifically, it was a HP Omen 25L, 11th Generation, i7, with a RTX 3060. From the moment I got it, the temps of the GPU/CPU were always running hot. I believe it was also underpowered. It really needed a bigger power supply. It finally just started shutting off on me constantly. Three days before the 90-day cut off period for the return window, I called the company I purchased it from and they ran me through some diagnostics and had me do a power drain, uninstall the graphics card driver, and then reinstall the driver. After that, it worked--- for 3 days. Just long enough to get past the 90-day return window. Luckily, I spoke to a very understanding manager and he returned it as a lemon. So, that's the story of my first gaming computer. I'm a longtime computer user--- back to my first CPM80. Yeah, I'm really dating myself there. As a rule, I've purchased HPs for years and have always had great luck with them. However, I have always used computers in a work productivity environment. I'm very comfortable with computers and working with them, so I'm really looking forward to building my first one. All the best, K.

This is probably not what you want to hear, but if you opted out of the KL models you will have to join the queue again for a chance to get one.

Yeah. They should have sent a email and a link to a explanation of the switch and why it was not recommended to switch back.
