AnotherCasual Good morning all, I'm getting my F5 finger stretched out and ready to go today. Hopefully I can get a decent time and the line isn't crazy full of Elite members in front of me. Hopefully the bottleneck eases and the queue can diminish instead of increasing. Cheers!
There's no such thing as a decent time after the Elite members have ravaged the queue area beforehand. That mentality doesn't exist, there's just nothing of the sort.

The SNAFU Dear EVGA. I am a loyal customer who has purchased nothing from any other company for almost 10 years. I entered the que for several 3080 models in November 2020 and still haven’t been given an opportunity to buy one of them. I see your cards at Best Buy, Walmart and pretty much everywhere else. Over all this time no notification from you that will allow me to buy a card. Being well aware of the gpu situation I knew it would be awhile but this is just not right and not consistent with your previously outstanding customer focus. From what I’ve seen the que for 3080’s hasn’t moved for many months.
Why are you treating loyal customers this way and is there any reason to think you will give me an opportunity to buy one of your 3080 cards anytime soon?
Your reply would be greatly appreciated.
It's not EVGA's fault there is a global supply shortage for a great many things at this point. And, if you're actually seeing EVGA's cards at local retailers, why not buy what you're looking for from one of them?

I am truly sorry for your wait. I am also a customer of over 10 years with over 55 registered EVGA products and I would like to add that the no wheel spin for long term customers is a pretty big let down as well. Are there any threads petitioning for the wheel spin to be offered to long-term customers?

Good luck, mate. I would definitely recommend you continue to pursue a card through other venues as well. Things aren't looking good for any of the queues - especially after the elite bombardments - any time soon :/

Doubtful us long-term EVGA customers will get the wheel spin perk. That's just how it goes. Many companies cater to new customers, but once they've got your money the honeymoon is over.

tbf there are some things EVGA could do to get most cards out of the hands of bots/scalpers. They seem to be more interested in PR over fulfilling the queue so hard to blame people for being upset.

We are all in the same situation no matter what branding you go with the GPU is having stock issues. I have been in the queue since 10/07/2020 and don't expect to see anything until next year. I've been in queue for the 3080s since September. EVGA has commitments with their retail partners to supply product. It is what it is.

I didn't see really any forum posts about this I was wondering if anyone had experience with the EVGA HYBRID Kit for EVGA GeForce RTX 3090/3080 Ti/3080 XC3? If I happen to get a chance to buy 12G-P5-3959-KR the 3080 Ti XC3 ULTRA HYDRO COPPER GAMING could I remove the preinstalled water block and instead use that hybrid kit? It says if I am understanding it right it should fit any XC3 based card/board is the XC3 Ultra different than a regular XC3? Just trying to find the cheapest way to get the card up and running and seen that kit but didn't know for sure if it would work...

That's funny, I've purchased EVGA products in the past also, and I've been queued since Sept 22 for the 3897 and that queue has as always grinded to an absolute halt when there is any meaningful progress. Now the queue for 3967 is starting to show similar symptoms. Also, that "coupon" I got for making ELITE in January I believe is all but expired now. Believe me when I say no one cares and neither does EVGA when they see posts like these. Get in line and wait your turn.

I imagine the PCBs are identical across all variants of the 3080 Ti XC3 Ultra. Wouldn't make much sense to have multiple designs just for mounting holes, but I could be wrong.

Lol "I am a loyal customer" *gives up and bashes EVGA as soon as things get difficult*
You have to forgive people for getting the verb tense wrong when the situation changes. It is not unusual for "loyal customers" to give more than they get, as the relationship is rarely shared equally by both parties. I was a loyal EVGA customer, at one point, too. I have taken a step back and am re-evaluating the relationship to see if it is in my best interests. EVGA isn't winning every heart with the notify list program. It is a good idea, but the idea has problems. They need to close queues that won't be filled so that people don't come across a dead queue and sign up. The 10G-P5-3897-KR queue has not moved in 9 months, but people can still sign up. They need to take ownership of notifying people about queue positions rather than depending on volunteers. They should tell people where they are in the queue and how many people are ahead of them right on the My Notifies page.

As Bernie Sanders likes to say. Maybe, just maybe .... I assume 99% of the cards stay in Asia anyway at extremely high prices that the miners are happy to pay. Based on the waiting lists, we know pretty well how many GPUs are sold here, so is a close approximation. Thus, the board partners (and also EVGA) are certainly not frustrated. The one percent is distributed here in queues at slightly less high prices and serves as a promotion. Is that surprising or even morally reprehensible? No, not really, EVGA is profit driven like everyone else in this supply chain and is doing exactly what the shareholders demand. I still like EVGA because they offer some important product benefits such as extended or transferable warranty. I'm depressed by the situation too, but I don't expect an industry that is particularly concerned about the customer. But maybe I'm just getting older or just too pessimistic. Just maybe. Thus, we can only wait, even this crisis will eventually pass.

My understanding is that the XC3 and XC3 Ultra are the same exact card, the latter with higher clocks as the only difference. Other than that, no experience with the kit. GL

Good morning y'all, welp, morbid curiosity had me attempting to login yesterday at 11:30AM EST... And the site was already pooping the bed. I didnt even try again, I moved on to bigger fish. I truly think EVGA has made it worse than ever with this "Elite" (not typing that word without quotes until policy changes) early access. They basically put out "come-lately" bait, good for business and brand promotion though, as long as you care more for new business than your loyal customers. Extreme frustration is setting in... And I have my card for 7+ months now, but I see people here that have been around for the whole ride, and they have more of a fight than ever. Just a bummer.

The SNAFU I am a loyal customer who has purchased nothing from any other company for almost 10 years.
What about groceries and clothes?? Are you eating and wearing computer products? You have to broaden your horizons, sir/ma'am.

yeah, some of us who have waited 9ish months are getting tired of hearing "this week", "soon", "drop" or anything that even closely resembles that stuff. Bottom line EVGA stop opening up queues, or just randomly open up queues for small time periods every now and then, and just concentrate on getting the cards out.

Lol "I am a loyal customer" *gives up and bashes EVGA as soon as things get difficult*
AnotherCasual Good morning all, Really! Wise guy… I have been a loyal customer having bought nothing but evga for a decade. Nobody is trashing them just pointing out that their cards seem to be available to retailers and scalpers at ridiculously high prices while those of us can’t buy them direct from our preferred manufacturer.
Like everyone else I am trying to score one anywhere I can at a reasonable price but evga is not serving gamers directly in a way that upholds the customer focus they used to deliver.
So get off your high horse and say nothing if you don’t have anything valuable to add.

drewski989 Good morning y'all, welp, morbid curiosity had me attempting to login yesterday at 11:30AM EST... Aaah, the withdrawal got to you again. :). Yeah the “Elite” decision from eVGA was a serious miscalculation* on their part. * That’s the “nicest” thing I can say about that.

Marketing made their metrics and will get bonuses, that was what all the "elite" stuff was about. Nothing more.
