Good b/c you need to let others try to score a card first.. Looks like you haven't had trouble getting a nice system... or two~!

All the queues work the same way from a messaging perspective when it is your turn to buy, if that is your question.

Is there a possibility of a 3070 Ti FTW3 Ultra drop some time this week (in addition to the 3070 Ti XC3 Ultra)? 6/10/2021 6:23:59 AM PT No 6/15/2021 10:12:53 AM PT No As you can tell, I didn't fair too well today with securing a spot in the queue for the XC3 Ultra...so I'm hoping I get lucky with the FTW3 Ultra. But I'm keeping my expectations fairly low...

seriously 3080 , which sku? certainly not gaming one I suppose. I would be surprised if they continue to sell 3080 after 3070ti/3080ti launch. Must be the last batch or so. Better follow up with EVGA and get it as soon as possible before it becomes history.

It was a rough morning. I couldn’t get over how many times I had to enter my info to get in queue because the site kept crashing. It wasn’t until 9:40 PDT I saw the message that said I already entered the queue at 9:32 PDT. That was a pleasant surprise, with a bit of salt on “pleasant.” Did you at least get an e-mail confirmation? I didn’t, but it’s on my notifies list. Anyway, hopefully we all get something sometime soon. It’s going on a year since launch, and still so many who haven’t gotten any of the cards they’ve been after.

Yeah it seemed pointless continuing to take up places in those queues now I'm in the 3090 KPHC queue. Had plenty of trouble, but I did manage to get one 3000 series card that I've purchased and use myself - the 3090 FTW3 Ultra. I got a 3060Ti FTW3 Ultra way back which I donated BNIB to an EVGA Folding@home competition. I missed the 8 hour window on one other card - 3060XC - which was going to be for someone else anyway, but I got lucky and grabbed a B-stock 2070 Super instead - just happened to check B-stock at the right moment.. they were all gone in minutes.

Gratz even for the 9:32 slot - you're way up on me in that queue. I did get an email confirmation, but I guess the insanity had calmed down a little by the time I was able to get in the queue. If it's on your notify list, you're good. It's been an insane year, and looks like this drought may continue for some time, maybe even a couple of years more. It's good that at least EVGA allows us an opportunity to get a GPU, despite how long the wait may be.

justshady I agree these thread has too many unrelated posts, long stories and irrelevant info. Can we just keep it to time stamps when you receive the notification? So that way we are actually informed if the line moved and we don’t have to scrub through 10 pages to find the movement of the day?
Enewt’s summary is updated every day with the most recent time stamps. Lots of people come here to enjoy the banter too
I agree with you, the banter (when it's friendly) helps this thread feel like a community waiting out this ridiculous situation. I was exclusively referring to the deluge of "No" timestamps that don't contribute anything meaningful.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the community spreadsheet ☺️. I hope you all get your card soon! If you found the spreadsheet useful, please consider using my associate code for your next purchase:

tshalev I agree; a good rule of thumb is an upgrade every second generation, although all the rules are out the window at this point (I would also say a good rule is not spending over $1K on a GPU, but, well...). I would point out though that you went from a premium 2070 Super model (MSI Gaming Trio X) to a low-end 3080 model (Zotac). Sure, you'll get the performance of a 3080, but naturally the thermals and noise are just not going to be up to the same standards.
Yes, of course, the Zotac wasn't a choice it was a lack of options. But even without the thermals and noise, if a person has a gaming system they are happy with at 2K or 1440p in my sole opinion, the upgrade simply isn't worth the $$$ by any stretch if you also need a new monitor. I'm just saying try not to get caught up in the hype of all the shiny new hardware like I did and really be sure it is right for you.

Agree with the lack of options , I secured an ASUS 3070 strix, and an evga 3080ti , rigs are comparable 5800x in the 3070, 3900x in the 3080ti and the 3080 stomps the 70 in everything I play at 1440p , keep kicking myself for not holding out for a 3080 , and that’s moving from a 2070s strix …kick kick kick … but we always chase the shiny new thing … sometimes with good reason 😎… still waiting on my hydro 3080 to drop , one thing I did learn thru all this waiting is the shipping everyone please opt for 2nd or 1 day I did the basic ground and from west coast to east cost took 9 days

Enewt does a nightly round up with any reported movement. Go check for it if you don't like reading the thread itself. You could probably bookmark his profile and check for recent posts to find it easily enough.
Here's a link to make it easy peasy... just go to page one 👍😁👍 https://forums.evga.com/m/tm.aspx?m=3334520

seriously 3080 , which sku? certainly not gaming one I suppose. I would be surprised if they continue to sell 3080 after 3070ti/3080ti launch. Must be the last batch or so. Better follow up with EVGA and get it as soon as possible before it becomes history.
2nd half next year is coming nvidia 40 series, be sure they will follow selling 3080.
if no huge improvements come up over the 30 series, I'll be sitting this one out, just like I did the 20 series when I had my 1080TI.

dwachtve So after waiting for months on end as I posted a while back I did finally hit the jackpot and got my card. I thought and even started writing several times prior but always canceled before actually making the post. I don't expect this will be a very popular post, but I just feel like, if I only knew then what I know now, so here goes. First a bit of background. I started out with a system that was pretty dated, but still ran quite well with dual r9 390x cards in crossfire with a strong CPU and tons of memory. The system could run pretty much any game at high settings and from a performance standpoint I was still pretty happy. The huge downside was the cards made a lot of heat and noise. They would literally raise the temperature in the room 3 degrees above the rest of the house with any amount of extended play. My son decided he wanted a system to run VR on with his new Oculus 2. He had nothing, so I thought OK, I'll upgrade my system GPU and CPU and give it to him for his gaming and get a new system for myself. At the time graphics cards were just starting to get constrained (this was Oct 2020) so I ended up buying a system from Best Buy with an MSI 2070 super Gaming Trio X in it along with some better RGB memory and I was very happy with it as it was both silent and cool running. As fate would have it, I couldn't really upgrade the CPU in my old system because of the old socket better CPUs were crazy money for it so I just built him an AMD system (this will be relevant later). Now I have my new system and of course want to do 4k but my monitor will only do 2k. The system was running great at 2K with FPS to spare on the highest settings on all the games I played but still my heart burned for 4K ;) My old monitor was a 34" curved ultra wide 3440x1440 display so I could game at 1440p at 75Hz but hey that still isn't 4K. I really loved the curved ultra wide monitor but when I looked for something similar in 4K of course I found nothing even remotely reasonable to buy. In the end I decided on an AORUS FV43U 43" QLED UHD 4K 3840 x 2160 144Hz 1ms (MPRT) FreeSync Premium Pro monitor to the tune of about 1100 USD. Ahhh success, I could now game at 4K and the games I played ran MOSTLY fine at 4k though at some rare times I would experience some poor frame rates and even dropped frames. My perfectionist brain absolutely could not stand it. Even though my setup was doing just fine 99% of the time I just couldn't stand those occasional times when the system would react poorly. So finally I get the notification from the newegg shuffle that I can order the Zotac gaming 3080. Now running the games is flawless at 4K but I am back to having a noisy hot card. Now it is not that the card is bad, it isn't more noisy or more hot (sits at 80 degrees C) than the average GPU it just isn't the super cool super quiet gaming trio x. On launch day I did get lucky in the F5 game and got the 3080 TI hybrid. Then I decide to use my old PC that was going to go to my son to upgrade my Plex media server and pop the 2070 super in it and move the drives from the old machine to it. This gave me a big boost from what I had, and I can now stream 4K video from it which was problematic before. So by now you have to be wondering what is the point to all this rambling, and I'm sorry but I felt the backstory was important before I made the final statement I had to make. I have buyers remorse in the most extreme way. Is what I have cool? You betcha!! Does it run well? You bet zero complaints!! Is 4K stellar? Yes, the graphics are great. So, what's the problem then, I got what I paid for right? Yes I did. The problem is that the cost/benefit ratio is way off. If I had it all to do again, I would have stuck with the 2070 super and the ultra wide 1440p monitor. While I do now get 4K the difference between that and the 1440p I had coupled with the loss of the ultra wide, the RGB motherboard integration I had with the 2070, the lower heat generation and the silent running are not even close to being worth the time and money it took to get it. The only reason I didn't just return the stuff and go back is by this point I had done too much switching and moving around to make that really a viable option. So, if you have a system you are satisfied with now, be sure about upgrading. Maybe go and see a 4K system somewhere to see if it is really money well spent for you. While I was thrilled with the upgrade to the 2070 Super, the upgrades beyond that, meh, not so much.
I agree; a good rule of thumb is an upgrade every second generation, although all the rules are out the window at this point (I would also say a good rule is not spending over $1K on a GPU, but, well...). I would point out though that you went from a premium 2070 Super model (MSI Gaming Trio X) to a low-end 3080 model (Zotac). Sure, you'll get the performance of a 3080, but naturally the thermals and noise are just not going to be up to the same standards.
I was at a 970 so the 3000s are so much above that is is really amazing. I tend to keep GPU about 4-6 years, CPU about 8. When CPU change the whole system gets updated. Tough the 970 did quite well, and I kept it longer than most GPUs I have had, but was really showing it's age. Moving over seas soon, so getting system all spruced up ATM.

Cats4Life How far do you guys think the 3070 ti xc3 ultra is going to move tomorrow? SWAG? If we go based on the 3070 Ti FTW, and assume the same supply levels, around 15 minutes for the week. However, people are saying that it was technically more difficult to get into the website this time, and I noticed more people posting later in the morning than last time, which could indicate people are more spread out. I figure this is wishful thinking, but it is worth considering. So, my totally unscientific psychic guess is somewhere between 15 minutes and 30 minutes for the week. Rounded to the closest 5 minutes, and biased towards the lower end, not the upper end.
We'll just have to see. I agree that people seemed quite spread out in general, but I also feel like there were some times where people are more densely packed. Hopefully supply keeps on coming and doesn't come to a screeching halt like some xc3 queues.

Close to the same but tend to do the CPUs at the same time as the GPUs for the most part which means complete system overhauls. Both at around 6 years old and it is mainly the GPUs showing their age big time. The Intel 6700K was doing fine for performance but the 900 series NVidia Titan X was badly outdated. I didn't buy the 10 series since there wasn't much of an uplift from there. Also skipped 20 series because the only large increase in that family from the 10 series was it's price tag. So 30 series Ti is obviously a money grab but we aren't in normal times GPU wise so they know they can get away with it. That plus as you point out the 900 series is LONG in the tooth at this point and isn't on anyone's performance list now. It was bad enough that VR flying wasn't even an option on those cards so I was using my laptop for that since it was more powerful in the GPU department.

Good morning all, I'm getting my F5 finger stretched out and ready to go today. Hopefully I can get a decent time and the line isn't crazy full of Elite members in front of me. Hopefully the bottleneck eases and the queue can diminish instead of increasing. Cheers!

Dear EVGA. I am a loyal customer who has purchased nothing from any other company for almost 10 years. I entered the que for several 3080 models in November 2020 and still haven’t been given an opportunity to buy one of them. I see your cards at Best Buy, Walmart and pretty much everywhere else. Over all this time no notification from you that will allow me to buy a card. Being well aware of the gpu situation I knew it would be awhile but this is just not right and not consistent with your previously outstanding customer focus. From what I’ve seen the que for 3080’s hasn’t moved for many months.
Why are you treating loyal customers this way and is there any reason to think you will give me an opportunity to buy one of your 3080 cards anytime soon?
Your reply would be greatly appreciated.
