Thanks for the offer I been pricing them out if I go with decent components that I know won't crap out any moment I see it's at least $225 or so if I go super cheap I can get down to about $150 but not worth risking a high dollar GPU on components that have zero reviews or testing. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the community spreadsheet ☺️. I hope you all get your card soon! If you found the spreadsheet useful, please consider using my associate code for your next purchase:

nomossEVGA has commitments with their retail partners to supply product. It is what it is. Also that Linus guy needs his cards so he can promote his own Youtube channel.

I have a question would a step up be faster then just waiting for a card on the queue or when I do step up I also go into the queue

Step up has a separate queue. I believe it is only slightly ahead of the normal cards queue.

Though the line may well be shorter since it's not full of bots and scalpers.

Goodness it is like the dead sea in this thread today. I guess the dry past couple of days has folks up in arms. Let's not forget the months leading up to the ti drops were desert like. Seems to me that all of the complaining is just a waste of time and energy. Go out and grab some fresh air and hug a loved one with that energy. It's better. I promise.

Step up is usually the slowest queues. Best bet would be to get a card you can deal with while you wait for your time. Hopefully when the 40 series comes out they can move your step up to one of those if need be.

To all of you folks first joining, I have some advice... Diversify your card hunt. Give yourselves as many chances through as many different avenues as possible. EVGA queue is one way, but still diversify your skus. EVGA step-up is another way, but you have to buy a card to be able to step up. Please do not put a single hook in the water (i.e. queue for only a single sku) and then be shocked if you don't get a nibble for months. Plenty of us "old salts" here have done just that, and either regret it or are stubborn fibbers ;) Whatever cliche you want to use, do not simply queue for a single sku and stop your search, unless you are a fan of misery. Good luck and fast queues yall.

Yeah pick basically every card. Maybe not the water blocks as you will need a pump and a radiator . But all the others is a good idea. I also go to ebay and offer evga sellers of new cards a lowball offer. I pick the exact cards on ebay that I really want. So far not much luck doing that but you never know.

It may be blasphemy, but beyond that--look outside eVGA. Unless you're Super Duper brand loyal, a card is a card. I poke into Best Buy for Founder's (yay bots!), NewEgg Shuffle, etc. as well.

Cards turned in for the step up get resold as B-stock, so it's not really "screwing" someone.

The SNAFU Dear EVGA. I am a loyal customer who has purchased nothing from any other company for almost 10 years. I entered the que for several 3080 models in November 2020 and still haven’t been given an opportunity to buy one of them. I see your cards at Best Buy, Walmart and pretty much everywhere else. Over all this time no notification from you that will allow me to buy a card. Being well aware of the gpu situation I knew it would be awhile but this is just not right and not consistent with your previously outstanding customer focus. From what I’ve seen the que for 3080’s hasn’t moved for many months.
Why are you treating loyal customers this way and is there any reason to think you will give me an opportunity to buy one of your 3080 cards anytime soon?
Your reply would be greatly appreciated.
i get where your coming from theres no reason they could not have cross referenced the queues with the elite members accounts so those of us who supported and bought past evga products and have 10,20,30 registered would mean something.but its nice to have all these 1 offs saying we're not loyal.and its the first thing they ever bought from evga.i did manage to get a overpriced rtx 3090 ultra.which i would have never considered spending that much but it beat spending 2500-3000 for a 3080.so due to the fact they are only pushing the money makers so now 3080s are doomed to trickle while they push the overpriced 3080ti

Thanks I've done water cooling in the past/currently I have two other computers with water cooling already I was just looking for a possible way to make it easier with the AIO route if possible.

I agree with you 100%. Some of us may be pretty beat up, but if you think about it, it's basically a luxury item we play with, not clothes or food. From that point of view, we're doing fine. And the weather is also very sunny here in Vienna right now. So going for a walk is a good idea, you've sold me on it.... :)

B&H has a notification system, but AFAIK, anyone that is on the notification list gets notified at the same time and the first person to add it to the cart and pay, gets the card. So, I don't think it is a queue. That said, I signed up for just about ever 3070/3080 on the site long ago and I've never gotten a notification. I have heard that cards that they do get in-stock are sold in-store.

i really like the idea of the evga queue's. On paper its better than all most any other seller is doing. but they dont give us any info what so ever. they dont answer questions, there answers are purposely vague. they say there is going to be a drop this week. what does that mean, what day, how many cards. this is the evga headquarters of the U.S. I dont buy that they dont know how many evga cards are coming in and when, how many evga cards are going out and when. We are all wasting so much of our time on these forums and twitter trying to get information and all we get is bull****. Imagine being a business where people are literally throwing money at them. all i want is transparency, they know exactly how many people are on the queue for the various cards, and they know how many people will probably get a card and how many people will probably never get a card. they should be hosting the spreedsheets where we track who's on the queue and how has gotten an invite. sorry for venting. this is all really crazy. think about it. the odds of a non elite costumer ever getting a card is very low. even most of the elite ones probably wont get one. oh well, i hope i dont offend anyone with my ranting.

Good point, it is on a first come first serve basis. So, that's fair... it's not so much a queue. At least it's another opportunity. My friend got a 5900X that way.

if your 39 on the list for a newly released card. then you should already have received an invite to buy. surely they had more than 39 of those cards. at least you would think so. and if you dont mind me asking, what list are you referring to. the only official list im aware of is the my notifies list. which really doesn't tell us much at all except what time you got in. and there are people on twitter posting their times , that were before the queue was even officially open
