I think the 3080Ti & 3070Ti will be the bulk of future notifications as Nvidia will want to prioritize getting free money, oops, I mean LHR cards that are for gamers only (wink wink.)

I could be completely off base though. I'll be surprised if the next drop moves past 7:43 and they hand out more than 15 cards. I'm feeling like my initial estimate of two to three months might be a bit conservative.

So the non- Elite folks were able to join the back of the 3070 Ti queue (singular) this morning starting at 6 am PT. Unfortunately they, too, are in for an extended wait. I know we have a lot of reason to be salty about the situation, but please try to keep your tails on...we are all in this together...and those s'mores won't eat themselves. Well guys my watch is over as I have ordered a 3060 12gb from a UK retailer, sadly its not EVGA but it was a head v's heart v's practicality and my aging 1070 8gb GPU.
I'll have it in a few days and I will remove my notifies then and I hope in doing so it will help others along.
I'll still be lurking here because of my High Sodium diet and I'd miss the banter anyway.

I'm not familiar with that queue, but any 3rd party queue where you have to register or log in to post a time is going to be way off on numbers, I think we're talking A LOT more people in line than that. However, a lot more cards are being shipped than people think just because of all the chatter around shortages. Millions of GPUs are being shipped every month this year and this was a major launch with a high volume chip for the GPU market. As you say, I don't think there will be a great amount of movement on the clock, but there are many more cards moving than people assume.

Oh yeah definitely. The 3897 is pretty much dead now that they can get away charging a boatload more cash for pretty much the same card now (Ti). I suspect the base 3070 will also follow soon in the graveyard, in favor of the Ti too for those.

I agree, it's only as accurate as the people reporting to it. Thus why I said that there are likely more than 400 people in front of me currently. I'm simply using it as an example of why people need to temper expectations. Truth is, we don't know how many cards are getting shipped, but at the current rate of releases here on the EVGA queue, it's going to take longer than months, unless more people start getting notifications each drop.

When you look at your time vice others in the queue, you need to think milliseconds in that there are probably more people in each second than you may realize. The self reporting of DTG for auto notify is useful, but also important are the reports the DTG of "invitation to purchase" email. The spreadsheets will give you a rough idea of where you are in the queue. Depending on drops, if you are within a few seconds, you might not want to plan a two week trip someplace where you have zero communication.

Also considering that many people later in the queue wouldn't bother entering because of frustration / lack of hope, or they were more "casual" about it and aren't aware of the list. Plus the early folks that got their cards in the first batch wouldn't have a reason to report their times except for a few doing it in the name of science. I'd say the 7:40-8:00 could be over-represented because those people want information and hope for that second or third drop. It would be fun to know the actual numbers one day. BlastMode7

enewt, I just wanted to say thank you for all that you do for this thread (especially for the pre-3070ti drop late night direct auto-notify signup link!!!). My wife and I both secured a 3070ti, which are currently en route, and used your associate code. I've sent multiple people to this thread and your Google doc in the last couple of weeks after I discovered it.
Side question - 3999 - is it confirmed there will be another auto-notify opening for this one? Would love another shot at some HC goodness. I did not fully understand how the auto-notify process works during the last drop and distinctly remember refreshing the page to notice the button was no longer there and I missed my chance :( I'm better prepared now though thanks to this thread and your posts.

Jacob on the Twitch EVGA livestream stated there would be drops today for the 3070 Ti.
Any words on the 3080 TI that were supposed to arrive today?

its like self-selection on steroids. probably less than 10% have bothered.
Also considering that many people later in the queue wouldn't bother entering because of frustration / lack of hope, or they were more "casual" about it and aren't aware of the list. Plus the early folks that got their cards in the first batch wouldn't have a reason to report their times except for a few doing it in the name of science. I'd say the 7:40-8:00 could be over-represented because those people want information and hope for that second or third drop. It would be fun to know the actual numbers one day.

I agree, it's only as accurate as the people reporting to it. Thus why I said that there are likely more than 400 people in front of me currently. I'm simply using it as an example of why people need to temper expectations. Truth is, we don't know how many cards are getting shipped, but at the current rate of releases here on the EVGA queue, it's going to take longer than months, unless more people start getting notifications each drop.
Yeah, I got ya, people definitely need to be realistic on their possible waits.

Those links have some interesting information. It would definitely be really interesting to see the numbers of cards have been sent out on each SKU since we only know about the ones that get reported here on the forums, or to these queues. DNA_Reformed

I think the 3080Ti & 3070Ti will be the bulk of future notifications as Nvidia will want to prioritize getting free money, oops, I mean LHR cards that are for gamers only (wink wink.)

Not so much an assumption as much as an estimation. That's how many other people have registered timestamps ahead of mine. If anything, there could be more. That estimation is based on the EVGA queue tracker website.
