He only said they were arriving today, but there was no word on when they would drop. They might drop some today, or they could drop Monday. We'll just have to wait and see.

enewt, I just wanted to say thank you for all that you do for this thread (especially for the pre-3070ti drop late night direct auto-notify signup link!!!). My wife and I both secured a 3070ti, which are currently en route, and used your associate code. I've sent multiple people to this thread and your Google doc in the last couple of weeks after I discovered it.
Side question - 3999 - is it confirmed there will be another auto-notify opening for this one? Would love another shot at some HC goodness. I did not fully understand how the auto-notify process works during the last drop and distinctly remember refreshing the page to notice the button was no longer there and I missed my chance :( I'm better prepared now though thanks to this thread and your posts.
Thanks for the kind words; they are appreciated. Glad to hear that the summary is helping and congratulations to you and your wife! Regarding the 3999, JacobF hinted that they would relight the auto-notify button once the first tranche of sign-ups have been fully satisfied. That has now happened. So, when they have a reasonable amount of inventory for the 3999 HC on hand, they should relight the button (they will wait, because EVGA likes to immediately drop to the front of the queue on that first day). How long until they have that inventory? Maybe late June, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is July before we see...  ...again. (Seriously EVGA, please get us an "auto-notify button" emoji!)

This is a decent time. Second or third wave of drop, my guess. June/July.
You really think so? I'm just looking at the queue and I'm at 7:57 and I'm damn near 400th in line, could be more. I guess I don't see them handing out 400 3080 Ti's by this month, or next. I could be completely off base though. I'll be surprised if the next drop moves past 7:43 and they hand out more than 15 cards. I'm feeling like my initial estimate of two to three months might be a bit conservative.
OK, so I finally went to that site and entered my info... looks like they estimate my notify in August, 405th place in line... I'll wait until we see the next round of drops (today?) before being so pessimistic.

Yeah, that's fair. We don't have a lot of past data to go on to even guess on a pattern. The next drop should be pretty telling. And, yeah those estimates should be taken with a grain of sale regardless.

New queues are actually the best way to get one of these cards. The more chances you have to be in the first 30 mins of some queue, the better chance you have of getting a card.

They keep opening new SKUs and then dropping them for others. I was asking previously because I saw someone ask Jacob on Twitter if new variants would come and Jacob said yes...

New queues are actually the best way to get one of these cards. The more chances you have to be in the first 30 mins of some queue, the better chance you have of getting a card.
Yes...but...I would surmise it is often the same folks who are getting in the front of each queue...some folks are just better at the F5 game than others or they don't have to be at work at 6 am PT, etc. etc. I can see both arguments, but I just hate the idea of some folks hanging out on a queue believing that EVGA will get to their spot one day...and in the meantime, 5 new queues are started with essentially the same silicon just in a slightly different (read: higher MSRP) configuration.

You are correct in general; there is potential for the tracking site to be quite accurate for these new models, as that's what most people are adding. But as with any data-driven approach, we need a bit more time (and more drops!) before we can get a more accurate picture.

yeah having to do that everyday probably gets pretty old and tedious since you are checking multiple places to try to get the most updated drop time. I'm sure it has been more than worth it though.

I do see that as a problem, and there is no throttle to prevent people from simply getting to the front of every queue and using the boxes from all the cards they get to stay warm this winter. Besides, no one wants to stand in a line only to have it move. It would be like that Airplane movie with the people trying to keep up with the arrival gate. The point is that there isn't much point in being more than day or so from the start of the line. Aside from F5-o-Rama for a new SKU, the only thing that these people can do is make sure that their will properly designates who will take over the email address used for the EVGA queues.

So as others have pointed, we may not see any 3080 Ti drops today. Though this shouldn't be a huge surprise since traditionally, we dont have much drops on Fridays just like mondays before.
