Congrats. Which track on F1 2020? I stopped at F1 2019, have you tried the RSS Formula mod for Assetto Corsa? It's pretty good.
Lol we do either 25% or 5 lappers to get a variety going. Our usual venues are Red Bull Ring, COTA, Silverstone, Hermanos Rodriguez, Monza, Spa, and Albert Park. We race all of them of course, but those are some our favourites so we tend to start with those and move along as time permits. The wives aren't always amused by how long we stay in our chairs pretending to be Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Raikkonen  I have not actually tried Assetto Corsa, but I've heard good things! I might have to look into it at your rec. F1 is honestly the first true racing game I've gotten into and only because my PC could finally handle serious games XD I've been itching to try Microsoft Flight Simulator as well in case anyone has input on that... Also, ICYMI, there was someone who literally posted in here saying they were starting their way to Elite via posts and wanted to get it done quickly. That comment has since been deleted XD It threw me off because I was looking for my response as a bookmark to how far I'd read through the thread lol

I have not actually tried Assetto Corsa,
RMV, Assetto Corsa is quite good. Especially if you have friends to play online/multiplayer with. It’s an older game so for $11 change you get all DLCs (once you install the base game for the first time, dlcs magically go on an85% off sale). I haven’t installed any mods yet, even though F1 ‘67 gets some ok-ish reviews. My favorite is the GPL (circa 98), and I’ll be installing it back again soon because I kinda miss the online races with my “club”, alas, it’s not, and will never be, in VR :(. MSFS is probably the best general aviation sim out there, but again requires a good system from what I gather. I don’t think my current system can run it. I was really hoping for some 3090 HC notifications this week, but as someone else wrote, they seem to be perpetually stuck at next week.

I don't necessarily think it's only just as simple as amount stocked. I would think the 3070 Ti has a higher amount of people wanting to buy it just due to price affordability alone being in a whole different bracket. The 3080 Ti also had huge problems during the queue launch as EVGA was trying something new on the backend. The site was worse in terms of downtime and number of issues from what I saw that day than read about the 3070Ti drop today.

Looked like a good day with the movement and the site being alot better. Even some more 3080 hybrids which feels like they're picking up in volume now(surprise) compared to moving once a month for the 3898 and being non-existent for the 3888 lol.

$4000 in state of the art components sitting in my living room waiting for a kingpin hydrocopper; which inspired the chilled loop I designed the whole system around (water cooled motherboard and all)… all becoming more obsolete while my kids wait for this present I promised them for Christmas 2020. And all I’m asking for is a reasonable explanation of delays and a timetable so I can at least have some idea what to expect going forward. I’ve never tried so hard to spend $2500 on a computer part! :Facepalm:

That was my biggest fear that if I bought all the parts for my new rig, it might be the next Gen by the time I got a gpu. After hunting for 9 months, finally landed a 3080 ti ftw3. Now the hunt begins for a 5950x..... sigh.... It never seems to end......
