Newegg has no idea how much money they are missing out on from me after I got fed up after shuffle loss #40 or so. I'd talked myself into some more RAM, and a nice UPS, and maybe some NAS stuff I've been eyeballing, and so on that I was also going to purchase when I finally won. Now EVGA gets my money instead, already bought an X17 mouse because I'm too lazy and/or busy to go elite the other ways lol.
NewEgg shuffle is about their daily sale emails and getting you to buy something while you wait. The longer they can string you out, the more other stuff you might buy. I still do the Shuffle, but a shuffle win is the only thing I will buy from them. Everything else for my in-progress build is sourced from somewhere else. I, too, was thinking that the EVGA notify list was the way to go, but the notify lists are too long and there isn't enough product to satisfy them. The notify lists are all about getting your name in the first few hundred, and people are using Elite to try to make sure that happens. I expect that there will now be more Elites signing up for the 3070 Ti tomorrow than there will be cards over the next couple of months. Supply just seems that tight. At this point, anyone not an Elite, or anyone not able to play F5 Whack A Mole on the swamped website within the first couple hours, will have better luck if they try again the next time a new card drops.

Man, they still haven't gotten back to me, but they said it was an inventory error, they said it'd be fixed shortly. I really hope it is.  Hope it is soon.

please I won a shuffle and had 2 hours to buy the card and a gpu. I clicked link with 1hr and 40minutes left in my 2 hour time window anddd f you Phil it is not it stock. I complained for 2 days and they did nothing to fix it. but they listed that particular gpu 1 dozen times since that screw up. Not as bad as Best Buy I tried to gets cards with them for 9 months I did order and pay for a pny 3090 card. Had to ship to the store I was afraid to alter that and get bumped. So it gets to the store and they tell me order is cancelled. I complained they offered me a 75 dollar gift card I said too small they gave me a $100 dollar gift card. For a $1900 gpu that was worth $3500 on ebay. I also was notified by BH Photo a card was in stock in a case of perfect timing I click in 5 seconds after notice and not in stock. The only company that efforts to honor your wins is EVGA. Which is why I am here posting to say at least they honor you when your time is due. I have seen good movement on the kingpin hybrid. I am playing on ebay making low offers for evga 3070 ftw3 cards that are new sealed and sold by a good seller. Since I started no one has said yes but the card had listings at 1500 then 1400 now good sellers have dropped card to as low as 1300 and 1250 yeah the card lists at evga at 689. But the price drop is hopeful this cards sold as high as 1800-1900 usd Most likely I will be getting that kingpin hybrid in a month as I am #41 on the list

My 3080 ti FTW3 Ultra arrives tomorrow. Just installed a new PSU as well.
Also enjoyed my Fractal Design Meshify C case tempered black glass panel shattering into a million pieces the instant I touched a screw - ticket opened with them.
Guess I'll have some added air-flow for awhile...lol
air flow is always good for these power hungry gpus 😆
Hahaha...just not the airflow I was planning on...sheesh, that was the Gawds of Luck reminding me we're all mortal. Got a nice video card, well we'll just shatter your case glass to even things out a bit...lol.
Ordered the Hybrid Kit for the card on the recomendation of another member, I'll keep that stored away for awhile and see how the card performs on its own.
Tomorrow - between 10am-2pm the card arrives - Adult Signature Required...then the Hunt is finally over...until Thursday morning when it begins again to see if I can get a 3070Ti for my son :-)
just a heads up on that adult signature required i checked that box as well and not only did fedex not get my signature they dropped the package next door between 2 apt doors on a lawn chair.thx god i was home and it notified my phone it was delivered.left me scrambling to find my package so if your unlucky like me there may be 1 more hunt in your future...lol heres a tip if you'd like to lower the memory temp on these cards i bought a 92mm noctua fan and set it on top of my 3090 heat plate to draw air out of the opening not ideal but dropped the temps quite a bit i rarely see much above 72c since memory temp(card temp is low 50- 60s).even under full load and OC'd

I have waited so long to be notified for an order an 3060 ti, I have never get this notification, I was checking my email and spam constantly. I was checking also my EVGA, every day. Today my EVGA says notifications send. I had no notification at all. I double check email again and again and again...NO NOTIFICATION....too bad!

You can use the spreadsheets linked in some members' post signature. This is not an 'official' tracker; rather, the information is crowd-sourced from people on reddit and here and whom are providing the dates on which they selected the auto-notify button. This helps give a general idea of where you are in the queue (e.g. you auto-notified at 9:00am, and someone that notified the same day at 8:58am just got their card, therefore you should be very close to getting a card). The more people that populate these community spreadsheet trackers, the more accurate and helpful they can be.

Like some said, I don't see any reason to go for 3080Ti unless you are ok with spending more money on less performance/dollar. It's mostly around the budget rather than performance, but it also depends what you're looking for. If 4k high settings is what you're looking for, this might be it until the next generation or an upgrade to 3090.

Seems like my predictions were right so far weeks ago: it looks like they indeed totally cancelled the 3897 it seems in favor of the Ti models instead, no movement on them for a month+ now? Shame really...

Like its been said before, in any other climate the RTX 3080 TI at this price point would be a flop. 5% - 8% increase in performance VS the RTX 3080, but with all the money grabbing going on with the RTX 3080 it puts it in the same price range as the RTX 3080 TI MSRP.

Sometimes I really wonder about the drivers these companies hire. On my late-April purchases I had to stay home 4 days because the UPS driver didn't (wouldn't?) ring my doorbell and kept driving the package back (probably didn't even leave the truck). I can't even get them to drop it off at a depot either as my local depot refuses to work with them anymore (terrible to deal with from what I was told) so the next closest is over 70 miles away. Heads up for those on the 3070Ti hunt, vids are starting to drop on Techtuber channels.

I've noticed some slowdowns today but no errors. My assumption is new people spamming to get to 100 posts before tomorrow and others being confused about the 24 hour elite pre-order window thinking it's today when it's really tomorrow. Just a guess. Edit: I'm already an elite member from registering products but sure, mark it as spam. I'm clearly farming posts with my 9 total
