Well, there are a few dropping today as well it seems, as evidence from posts on this thread. Obviously we can't know how many specifically. Best to look at the timestamps of people reporting back. Looks like it's between 9:09 and 9:10 for 12/16 right now.

It seems my time is getting closer on the 3898 (3080 ftw3 hybrid 9:09:36) and I will have a choice to make of either getting it or the 3080ti (3967) yikes.
What are everyone opinions?
If you can get a 3080, go for the 3080. The Ti is not worth the money. I would only go for the Ti if you are desperate and have no hope for a 3080 in the near future. Your time stamp indicates you'll probably be in the next drop for the 3080 hybrid.

It goes back to November when we were coming up with descriptions of the hybrids and hydro coppers. I preferred waterlogged to moist, damp, dripping, soaked, etc. YMMV.

Well, finally. I placed the order and used a random code, congrats to whoever because I just clicked one of the associate codes months ago and don't remember who it was!
I chose the UPS Worldwide Saver for shipping to Canada. I'll come back and let Canadian readers know the next step, my plan is to get the shipping info and contact USP to pay the taxes using EFT so they don't require any bond, and that should save me any kind of brokerage fees according to their website. https://www.ups.com/ca/en/shipping/zones-and-rates/customs-clearance.page

Thanks. I'm still 2 hours out on the Ti. And haven't been able to find anything suggesting it's worth the $500 more (also nothing suggesting it isn't worth it either) so I just didn't know. Guess whenever I get the notification I'll report back. Hopefully 5 seconds doesn't take another month lol. I've also never had a water-cooled GPU. So that'll be fun trying to figure out how to have another radiator in my case.

Just won a shuffle for a MSI 3080ti bundled with some ram that I dont need/want. Total cost $2k. I placed the order but I really want the ftw3 ultra. My time stamp for that is 8:02:15am. I am also extremely impatient....

Yeah I dont mind the MSI card. I'm coming from a 1080ti ftw but I'm gaming on an Alienware AW3821DW. A lot of pixels to push.

6 am PT. But the servers didn't stabilize until around 7:20 am PT on 6/3.

Its way better than your current 1080. The way i've seen this work is, with another series hop, the card advances in performance, So: A RTX 2060 = gtx 1070 A RTX 2070 = GTX 1080 rtx 3060 = rtx 2070 etc etc Basically a rtx 3070ti is the non existent GTX 1090TI

The 3070 Ti will be a substantial improvement over a 1080. Hell, it's a decent jump over a 1080 Ti. Now... is it worth getting over a 3070? My guess is that it won't, but since we live in a world where you can't get a 3070 anywhere near MSRP... that really goes out the window and you get what you can. I'd say it's absolutely worth going for over your 1080.

3080 is great for 2K, decent for 4K.
3080TI is excellent for 2K. Good for 4k.
3090 is great for 4k and great for developers who need extra 12GB VRAM.

Didn't know that! (I also don't keep track of specs for the cards coming out.) Only reason I want an upgrade is because games are getting better and the 1080 is struggling on 4k and I have to play on pleb 2k. Edit. I hate mobile on this site.
