aunger97 Does anyone know if the step-up program is a long wait? Would like to step up to anything better than a 3060 but not sure if that queue will be just as long.
Step up to the 3090 is super fast. I was in the queue for 3 days. The complete process took about 2 weeks. I got my RTX 3090 last week. I heard the step up to the 3080 is 6-7 months....
Wow, that's pretty surprising. I thought it would have been slower, given how slow the regular 3090 queues have been lately.

I didn't even have time to take the 3060 out of the box. It would be nice if they put the returned cards in B-stock, hopefully they are not going to the secondary market at scalper prices.

That is likely what is happening. We see some 30 series popping up in b-stock here. However, where it goes from there...

I received a notification but I am unable to get past the login screen. I keep getting redirect back to the same page. Am I doing something wrong. I am using the same email as the auto-notify to log in and the login works in other places around the EVGA website.

6dustMy guess is that the 3070 ti and 3080 ti will be hashrate limited, but WON'T have to be labeled as LHR since there won't ever be a non-limited version. Similar to the 3060s. They did not added LHR to 3060 because they planned to leak driver for unlock full hashrate! I wouldn't be surprised if Nvidia will rerelease 3060 as LHR at some point.
Nvidia should be marketing this as "LHR 2.0". We've seen the tremendous improvements from DLSS 1.0 to DLSS 2.0, so golden marketing opportunity missed.

RasTeX Do we have any news of EVGA 3080ti and 3070 ti ques? From what I have heard, and understood, those two are going to be LHR only, while others (60,60ti,70,80) will be produced in LHR and nonLHR version.
No clue on the ti queues, but to my understanding the rest of the queues will transition over to LHR variants, whilst non-LHR will still have some production, I think it will eventually die( :D ) out and the overwhelming majority will be LHR cards in the future...
My impression as well. Simultaneously having non-LHR and LHR versions of the same card with the queue currently fulfilling the non-LHR version could be a mess. I trust EVGA has a plan to simplify this and not cause existing queue members to not get skipped until the non-LHR GPU is discontinued and queues merged.
Regarding the 1st part, nVidia 3070 Ti / 3080 Ti and even 3090 Ti , no official words yet from nVidia about them, yet we might hear about them officially next month so I guess the SKUs are being / alreayd cooked for them. Now about the LHR / non-LHR, I think the current lines will be grandfathered, replaced with LHR variants, also It's not fair to let down all the ones in the queues already for these cards somehow :/ so it will be flowing the same it's with new LHR cards, Jacob mentioned so in on the subs here.
I also think that It would be fair that ques are continued, and old requests are solved first. This could be oficial info, unles guy in leather jacket goes in his kitchen to cook something: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/events/computex/?nvid=nv-int-cwmfg-387745#cid=gf41_nv-int-cwmfg_en-us

aunger97 Does anyone know if the step-up program is a long wait? Would like to step up to anything better than a 3060 but not sure if that queue will be just as long.
Step up to the 3090 is super fast. I was in the queue for 3 days. The complete process took about 2 weeks. I got my RTX 3090 last week. I heard the step up to the 3080 is 6-7 months....
Can you keep the "old" card or do you have to return it. The step-up process appears complicated.

You must return it. It will later be sold as B-stock or used for RMAs.

This may have already been discussed but will they move people over to an LHR queue if they want an LHR card? Or will there be a brand new queue?

The LHR models will supersede the non-LHR models In ALL future orders as production migrates to LHR models only. There will be some overlap. Most people can and should expect an LHR model unless they're close. Nothing to worry about. The only change is those that queued/step-up for a 30XX, are now queued for a 30XX-LHR.

Not only that but in the event you need to RMA for any reason, I would expect to get a LHR replacement of the same card as Nvidia turns production to strictly all LHR cards. OFC this doesn't affect people with 3090s, There was also a leak from one of the AIBs that showed a 3090 Ti coming lol.
