Agree, from a business perspective he is saving EVGA a lot of time & money. But I think the biggest impact is for their employees. The disclaimer on the homepage saying that employees cannot provide information on your position, so no need to call will hardly prevent anyone from calling in constantly, when kept in the dark for months. And now imagine how friendly most of these calls would be if you are waiting for 6+months and have no information at all. The call center employees would get yelled at constantly and that will be extremely hard to handle for the employee and at the end the management.


I personally would offer a GPU of his choosing for free wrapped nicely and a thank you card attached.

Thanks for the thought, but I am not jumping the bloody line. I won't do it. It has become a pride thing or something. The bots didn't break me. The scalpers didn't break me. The delays in the KPE HC haven't broken me. This (apparently) non-Elite, "something broke" notify button thing today hasn't broken me (yet...jury's still out)...I am going to see this thing through.  I know it is small and, in some respects meaningless in the grand scheme of things...but I need to see it out.  Pardon the emotional stuff...not how I saw this morning going.

There is no right way to finish this other than to get the card you want.  10 paper cuts for you, and a healthy dose of salt to dress the wounds.  Ignore this noble yet misguided statement, and get the man a link to buy.  We need him focusing on his daily riffs, not the five-ish seconds window of mostly missed opportunities.

Hindsight is such a wonderful thing. When I joined the queue I simply signed up for the card I wanted for my son, nothing special just a 3060 XC so he could play minecraft with ray tracing. That queue hasn't moved in over a month and I see the 3657's moving quite nicely now. I joined the 3657 queue as well, but weeks later. Hindsight...

I think this is part of the reason why their checkout system stopped, they did it themselves to ensure that people that aren't Elite aren't being allowed to purchase.  This COULD lead to them re-opening the queue long enough to get enough proper Elite sign ups, so keep your eyes peeled folks.

hope soo...I am at 15 seconds and who knows how many cards deep that could be if anyone could signup...500? 1000?....most of the people reporting to the queue sheet are on these forums...if anyone could sign up then it's probably 100s of cards
