As an update:
The cart/insufficient stock issue is something affecting our Elite auto-notify, and our programming team is working on fixing this for those of you who received a notity. Our CS reps offered a likely explanation, but we only sent out as many notifies as intended.
Why did non-Elite accounts get access to notifies???
They didn't. We reviewed everyone in the queue. All accounts in the 3090 KP HC queue are ELITE members. Nobody was removed to make the previous sentence true, either.

Just a heads up...EVGATech_LeeM confirmed that all notify emails for the kingpin HC have gone out for the day....soo if you didn't get one already, then you're most likely in for a long wait with yours truly

Sorry for all of those who tried to get into the KPE HC queue but couldn't :/ I wish the situation was better for all of you.
Congrats to those of you who snagged a 3657! It seems like another sad day where only one SKU dropped :(

I'm guessing if I can obtain a 3080 and don't go past 1440p I should be fine not getting the 3080Ti, if I can't get a 3080 then try for a 3080Ti.
3070 is OK, but I want to get higher fps at 1440 on ray tracing games.

I am happy this was not the 3080TI, as this was not a good experience. I can live with not getting the hydro-copper, for those that really wanted it. I feel for you.
So did we learn two things?
1. You need to go through Elite product page, or did people see the notify on the general product page?
2. Use CTRL-F5 to refresh? or was F5 enough.
Last, I assume the direct link posted did not work?

Na, this was not a learning experience. There's not really much one could do different. I was sitting on a bench, saw the time strike, hit the refresh, saw the submit button, filled everything in, clicked submit. ERROR, OOPS or whatever. The only learnable experience is don't get your hopes up, even if you are Johnny on the Spot.

I used the straight link. Before noon eastern, there was no submit button. When I refreshed at noon, there was a submit button. The submit button sent me to an error page when I clicked it. That was all within the first 10-20 seconds.

So, I have a timeslots of 9:00:10. To get that I was logged in as my user. I then had the initial product page open. From that I made sure my computer time was synched with an ntp time source. I refreshed the page in chrome about 1 minute before, and it gave me the prompt of do you want to resubmit data. I held on that page and at exactly 9:00 I hit yesand as the page redrew I clicked on notify. From the notify I had to put in name and email which I used chrome auto fill and click the box for not a robot.

Ah, thanks. I did the same, but never got a submit button. So hopefully this wont be an issue with 3080TI as its more high volume, as they closed down the notify submit button in this case.

Haha. I considered trying to get my wife to try and sign me up, but I opted to simply be optimistic that I'd have time to try on my phone. Some things, like how much we spend on a gpu, are better left unsaid for the sake of a harmonious union.

The mystery is why launch with a handful of cards. Timing, luck, sure. I lean more towards luck, but timing mattered. The bigger mystery is why launch with ~ 50 cards? And why leech from the KPE drops for such a shallow drop. There are mysteries, but nothing devious. Just weird.

After months of frustration and failure, I decided, "To hell with my budget.", and managed to snag a 3090 at MC. It wasn't the EVGA I would have preferred, but it was the only other AIB manufacturer that I would consider buying from, so I figured a decent card in the hand was better than taking my chances and spending who knows how much more time, stress, and luck that it would have taken to try and get an EVGA card. Hopefully my EVGA MB and EVGA CPU AIO won't be too mean to the non-EVGA 3090. My spot it the 3080 queue was not great, but maybe having one less person in front of them might help someone else out in a year or two.  This also means I don't need to stress about the 3080 Ti queue.

I bet this is part of why they stopped the checkouts, because they saw that the system messed up. I really hope this means more people that haven't gotten their email yet that got in the queue get their email tomorrow. Glad to see they got this resolved quickly & that it's Elite only as intended... it may not be much of a "wall" against scalpers, if it is one at all, but it could be worse.

Here's the truth; enewt has been doing a job someone from evga should have been doing for a long time now. Enewt I agree with you on so much but I disagree here my dude & I think your evga bucks total disagrees as well. You have earned your card and you didn't earn it by being selfish.
