AIO coolers for GPUs aren't that much better than aircooling as long as the case is well ventilated. Corsair's HydroX configurator is super easy to use for planning your build specific to your case/mobo/GPU. A GPU only loop would not be that expensive.
Hybrid kits are considerably better than air cooling, and exhausting the GPU heat is the best thing for can do for case thermals overall.

That's my experience as well and why I decided to try a Hybrid this generation. I had a 1080 ti FTW3 for awhile and my friend had the hybrid version. His gpu not only ran cooler but also quieter when I borrowed his to run the same setup.

I got my email for the 10G-P5-3897-KR! I apparently was sent a email long ago that I didn't get in my inbox or junk mail folder that I seen any ways. I messaged EVGA support and they took care of me. That is why I'm a fan of EVGA. They went above and beyond and did me right. I needed that after the utter disappointment of trying for the BB drop and ending up with 3 useless add to cart buttons for any 3080 I could get. Thank you EVGA! Wonder when the emails will start actually going out of the queue that opened up today.
And 1400 in the first minute is not even that bad I don't think. Like I told someone before, on a launch like this they probably have at the very least an entire container's worth of product... which, I'm just guessing, is probably in the area of what, 5K cards? You figure take the size of a 3090 FTW3 box, times however many would fit in a boat-style shipping container. That's probably how many they got for this.
This goes back to what people have said previously many times, it'd be nice if eVGA divulged, at least, how many cards they had ON release day, so we'd have an idea of just how much the queue moved on release day meaning that many cards sold in x-number of minutes, for anything that was launched post-queue system creation.

It comes from the unique notify ID when you view the page source. It tracks all purchases/notifies on the site but when a new product launches you can assume almost all the notifies belong to that new product.

No, I think they were looking at the notify number (if you right click the remove notify button in my notifies, and inspect it (don't click it! lol) you can see a number assigned to each notify. Some of the folks here who notified did that and reported the number. It does include all queues, not just the one that launched today, but it is pretty likely that within that minute and a half, almost all the notifies were for that queue. Also, people already got emails, at least up to 16 seconds after 10am. Edit: Wow was I late to the party. Already covered, move along here. sorry.

Man, I really feel this. I signed up for the 3897 on 9/21 at 10:11 PM. It gets pretty frustrating seeing people talking about their long waits being over but they signed up for their 3080 hybrids or 3060s between December and February. I recently achieved elite status and was able to get a 20% coupon from spinning the wheel. It's supposed to be good for 90 days, so I expect I'll get my email at least 91 days from the day I got the code. This whole thing has been a huge mess.
