1080 - released
1080 Classified - released
1080ti - about to be released
1080ti classified - ?
1080 hydro copper - released
1080 FTW - released
1080 SC - released

1080ti is an unnannouced gpu. You need to correct your list as the 980 got its own KPE and classy versions before the 980ti was announced.

Kinda figured the Titan is in a league of it's own, but I'd like to see a 1080 "Titan", I guess.

Call it wishful thinking or best guess based on past history but me thinks Volta (HBM2 based) which promises 2 fold performance over Pascal scheduled for early to mid 2017 release throws a wrench into your line of reasoning. I can't think those high end parts will share the same nomenclature. If there is a Ti edition it won't be until late late 2016 or early 2017 which is depending on what AMD does. Both could climb on the Battlefield 1 bandwagon and me thinks this is highly possible. In any case that's a whole lot of parts to be released in a short amount of time. The only things for sure is we can expect a whole lot of Red and Green waves of PR/hype for the foreseeable future and no one really knows what's going to happen for sure.

the TI is super far away. It is a med session upgrade.. more a replacement of a 1080 than a higher version (which is it)

But i'd love to know when cards with more power (in more voltage) will be coming out. Normally it is 2-3 months for the classified.. which sucks :(

I'm sick of people referring to the Ti being a "version of the 1080."  If a 1080 Ti ever exists, it'll probably be an entirely different GPU, which would mean it's NOT a version of the 1080.  Nvidia really needs to change their naming scheme.  It's like saying the 980 Ti is a version of the 980, which is far from accurate since GM200 is a different GPU than GM204.  One is for mainstream users, the other is for enthusiasts.

So you can assume the 1080 Ti Kingpin will have two 8 pin power connectors no doubt?!

NVIDIA and EVGA could expect HUGE demand for GTX1080 and special GTX1070.
People will buy GTX1070 SLI and overclock them and beat PRO Duo 1499$ for half price.
Special model with better cooler and if EVGA start to sell Hybrid kits separate from graphic card.

1080 Ti kingpin doesn't come out till next year and no one knows if they will do a 1080 kingpin. So far all they have teased is the reference, sc, ftw, classified, hybrid, and hydro.

To be honest If I need to pay much much above reference than I will rather pay GP100.
OK some normal price, little more than reference Supreclocked but not 200-300$ more.
Last year EVGA had really nice price for Classified, 70$ more than reference version, GTX980Ti Classified.
EVGA PCB, stronger VRM, higher clock, compatible with EKWB... Enough.
K|NGP|N was great when I payed 750-760 euro for full chip GK110 and in my country ASUS reference was 720 euro.
In USA was 600-650$ full GK110 reference, 780Ti. That was good price.
Even that was premium chip. Imagine now full unlocked GP100 K|NGP|N for 760 euro... NO WAY.

I'd like to know when EVGA will have the 1080 Classified cards released... will it be on the May 27th?  I was or am going to buy the new GeForce GTX 1080 FE card on May 27th, but I love the Classified cards because they are just awesome.. I own a EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB Classified Card now and it's been pretty sweet.  I'm just wondering if anyone knows when EVGA will have the 1080 Classified card avaliable and what date?  Please someone let me know.. does EVGA answer questions on these forums?

    Thanks,
    & God Bless

I don't think EVGA will answer that question until the 27th because of the NDA they are under with nvidia.

Well, the announcement of the Precision X OC pretty much confirms my preliminary "gestimation"

    1080 -
    1080ti -
1080ti classified -  This one will be just the classified, probably will add a ti version of it later...
    1080 hydro copper -
    1080 FTW -
    1080 SC -
    1080 K|ngp|n

    stay tuned....

yeah, not sure why they didn't offer the 980ti classified in a hydro copper version, had to do mine myself. I keep telling myself I am going to skip this 1080 release and hang on to what I have until the 11's or whatever, who knows.
