Will they have the standard EVGA warranty? Ya know, lifetime, mod it, etc?

My guess would be 5 year, no mods.  Maybe 7 years if they want to compete with the very best Corsair and Seasonic have to offer.

Corsair 650D   -  i5 3570K @ 4.6GHz  -  Corsair H80i  -  MSI Z77 M-Power  -  16GB DDR3 Corsair Dominator Platinum
WD 1TB Caviar Black x2  -  OCZ 120GB Vertex2 SSD  -  Corsair HX620  -  GTX285 SSC  -  Samsung T240  -  DIR-655

Hey where's the EG91 1337 Series!?

1337w, just enough to blow S#^# up, like the real EG91!

Also I know those images are basically just Sketch-Ups, but I noticed the 80% Platinum stickers.

Ahh just found out that the 1500w is Gold rated. Still good!

Those who abuse power, are nothing but scumbags! The challenge of power is how to use it and not abuse it. The abuse of power that seems to create the most unhappiness is when a person uses personal power to get ahead without regards to the welfare of others, people are obsessed with it. You can take a nice person and turn them into a slob, into an insane being, craving power, destroying anything that stands in their way.

if their 1200w psu is reasonably priced... and is as FTW as they are saying... i might have to pick one up.  im about to do my new computer build and really contemplating switching out my PSU for a new fully modular one. they are just so much cleaner looking.

btw you guys on this forum are to blame for this... if I didnt join... I would have never known about SLI... Modular... sexy cases... retarded overclocking and the joys of benching... sleeving... sigh... how much fatter my bank acct could be right now..

I'd like to see an 850, 900, or 950W model that manages to be only 160mm long. That 650W pictured looks that size, but the 1000W looks around 180mm (and of course the 1500W is even bigger, probably 200mm).

The reason why is many new cases have room for a 140mm fan in the bottom next to the PSU, if the PSU is 160MM long, like the Corsair AX850. That fan location is great for getting air to your GPU(s).

A good 850W PSU should be enough to power 2 GTX580's in SLI, an i7 CPU, and all the other usual stuff  - and all that would fit nicely in, say, a Fractal Design Arc Midi - which can be set up with dual front 140mm intakes and a bottom 140mm intake. That would be a good aircooled setup without going to a full tower or having to use a side fan (which I hate...).

I'll keep my fingers crossed!

And don't get me wrong, those all look awesome - might be worth getting a bigger case just to cram the 1000W or 1500W in it! My future plans don't include going higher than 2 GPUs though, except for possibly adding a low-profile dedicated PhysX card at the most. I only use one monitor and just want to game, not run overclocked benchmarks all the time.

It should be doable. This Silverstone model is 1000W and only 160mm (http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817256057).

EVGA actually sent me one to test, it makes your system immediately clock to five quintillion Ghz. Produces money, gives you food, cooks food, makes all your wishes come true, and actually produces more power than all the power plants in the world.

Hmm, so I guess that'll be 8x 6+2 pins? If so, fail! A 1500w beast like that needs 10+ 6+2 PCI-e pins! Heck if it's only 8 like the average high-end PSU right now, then it will only power 2x SLI 580 Classifieds...

I'm hoping that is 2x 6+2 pins per port.

My Corsair AX1200 only has 6x 6+2pin connectors so this for me is a HUGE Pluse, besides the GTX 580 Classified is the ONLY card that uses 3x 8pin power connectors per card. And they Make 8pin to 2x 8pin adapters, which migh be what EVGA includes with this Unit.

Ahh true. Yeah they'll prolly include the molex to PCI-e adapters. Oh well like you said, the new Keplers and should prolly will go back down to 2x 8-pins or so, since * hopefully * they're so efficient.

This might be the most important factor in my possibly purchasing one of these units.  Who is making these for EVGA?  Seasonic? Delta?   ....okay maybe I'm just dreaming;)

Dual mode, multi-rail and a feature that lets you bridge all the +12V rails into one rather large 133A rail.......in case you need to weld some steel plates together.

I'm thinking the OEM may be Enhance, but that is just a wild guess.

It's for the software monitoring.  This could be a very cool feature if done right.....as in not just a gimmick, but actually accurate and useful.
