If its priced competitively this is going to be extremely difficult to resist for many... Well actually even if it isn't it'll be irresistible for many lol.

Yeah uhm about that... I think the 1500W unit will have a nice MASSIVE pricetag
What surprises me is that they didn't add connectors for a second CPU (see upcoming SR-X)

[eVGA classified 3 (E770) ]    [i7 920 D0 @ 4.2GHz 1.275Vcore]    [eVGA GTX 580 SLI 950/1900/2150 @ 1.125mV]

Fold on!

They did.  CPU 0 and CPU 1.

I'm trying to figure out the OEM like crazy......the paint screams Enermax.  If it's a custom deal like where Corsair designed their own PSU then had Flextronics manufacture it......well maybe Flextronics for this?  New CWT Platform?

:)

There are A LOT of never before seen features for PSU's, like enthusiast software bundle, a unique cable design and OC mode + more. More details soon.

http://twitpic.com/85oto3

Features are well and good, but if they don't come with efficiency, good transient loading and strong ripple rejection, I'm not buying.

Can you tell us if it's a single rail psu or not?

The rails are completely customizable... so its whatever you want it to be.

Hey where's the EG91 1337 Series!?

1337w, just enough to blow S#^# up, like the real EG91!

Also I know those images are basically just Sketch-Ups, but I noticed the 80% Platinum stickers.

Ahh just found out that the 1500w is Gold rated. Still good!

it should be in production....lol.  Guess i need to pay a visit to the plasma center this year, need to save $$ at the end this year

With over 6k posts you should know cookies don't work, monster on the other hand...

You need to be careful about them monsters. If they get under your bed, you will never get any sleep...

Yeah, honestly what does it do? I mean you can't carry your rig with the handle... It basically sticks out 2" for no reason.

Many EVGA enthusiast parts are designed with open benching in mind. While it doesn't make sense in a case, open on a tabletop it would as a handle. It would be the first thing I'd remove on it to keep a clean back panel on my rig. I just hope there aren't warranty void stickers on the PSU case that void the warranty when opened though.

More than anything I'd like to see a design with 2 AC inputs to split the load across 2 circuits without having to go to 2 separate PSU

System 1:  Supermicro X9DRG-QF | 2x E5-2690v2 | 256 GB Crucial 1866Mhz ECC | 2x iofx 1.65 TB | LSI 9361-8i + 8x Seagate ST2000NM0043 | Samsung 840 Pro | 3x Quadro K6000 | Red Rocket-X | Corsair AX1200i
System 2:  Mac Pro 2013 | E5-2690v2 | 64 GB | D700 | 1TB flash
System 3:  Asus Z9PE-D8-WS | 2x E5-2687W v2  | 128 GB  |  4x EVGA TITAN BLACK

??? its call a 220v line, you can actually wire your PSU to take 220v's, which would only draw half the amps of a 110v line
and for the cost of running two circits why not just a 30amp NEMA-30 twist lock (10-2 w/ ground)

I will either find a way, or make one.

Ahh gotcha. Yeah dumb me, I didn't even think of that. A 1500w beast like this will surely be used by Vince, and all the other OC'ing guys, so that makes sense. But agreed, I hope we can remove it without voiding the warranty...

Because most rooms are not served by two circuits, running extensions cords to another room would bring a whole host of code compliance problems and livability issues. For what it's worth, I'm getting a 20 amp 240v circuit installed for my SR-X box.
