I had a problem yesterday where the computer freezes randomly, I changed the hard drive, cleaned the system, tried everything I can but still the same problem, so I removed the board and kept only the CPU, and tested it, then the board never start up and the I get post codes in loop, anyone else had such a problem?

Take out your 1080Ti..Clear mobo CMOS..Connect your monitor to either the DisplayPort or HDMI outputs on the back of the Z370 FTW so that the i7-8700K graphics will be used..Try again.

Did you do all that yet?

Try booting with only one memory stick installed.

And reseating the RAM after you clean the 'gold fingers' with a pencil eraser and some rubbing alcohol..That would be next on the list.

/EDIT: After I checked the last code in the post sequence, seems the RAM is damaged. Will replace and check again.

There must be at least one memory slot populated for the board to boot and operate.

You need to put a stick of RAM in DIMM slot 2, which is the second slot away from the CPU..See page 26 of your mobo manual for slot population rules.

After I got another error 4C, which is the OEM, I found the problem, and I didn't expect it at all, it turns out that the CPU heat sink, which is big with big fan on it, is pushing on the CPU socket down and effecting the RAM module, I don't know how, but when I released the pressure more from the screws on the heat sink, everything ran well, seems this happened after two years.

I thank you all for helping me in this.

Glad that you found the issue. This happened on a lot of X58 motherboards when modders were tightening down the CPU cooler too tight, My rule of thumb is when you are tightening the screws on CPU air coolers use two fingers on the screwdriver for each screw.  This helps to prevent over torquing.
