Hello

First im sorry for my bad English but ! i will try my best.
Im really noob about OC this is my first time but before OC I try some basic stuff like load my XMP

So :

Spec : CPU : I7 8700K
          GPU : 1080 TI
          SSD : 970 PRO SAMSUNG M.2
          RAM : Corsair 2x16 32GB 4000 mhz
(Corsair Vengeance LPX 32Go (2x16Go) DDR4 4000MHz C19 XMP 2.0 Kit)
(CMK32GX4M2F4000C19  )
          PSU :Platimax Enermax 1200w Platinum

So i have some issue whit my MotherBoard
When i try to load my XMP profile (4000 mhz ) i get ... crash : /
So i try 3400 everything else set to ( auto )  work ( long boot )
           3500 MHZ work ( long boot )
           3600 MHZ work ( long boot )
           3700 MHZ crash ! ( long boot )
(My pc portable was much faster boot than my pc ....  :/ )

So i was limited to 3600 MHZ , and whit some luck iafter some games test , i get 3700 MHZ work !
3700 finally work, but after reboot my motherboard have totaly broke down no display screen pc , no bios display , nothing only the small display in the motherboard work ,give me error and  each boot has a different error code .... ( no usb work , fans stop work too etc ... etc...  )
So now im waiting my new MotherBoard.

And the question is : How to get my 4000 mhz work ... ?  and what is the best Ram Timing  for my Spec ?

The crash when XMP is set - is that immediately or on reboot?

When you set the XMP what is the voltage set at and what does it set the BCLK too?

What slots are the memory sticks in? Should be 2 and 4 - look at page 27 of the PDF manual

OK, someone with direct access to a working board will have to help you. I do not own an 370 system so I am not sure what settings you will have in the bios

Only thing I can say is load the profile again, maybe push the voltage to 1.375 (I know you can push 1.4 on the X299 stuff but not sure about yours) and double check that the XMP profile is not bumping your BCLK over 100 - check in the CPU overclock settings.

I might just be that you lost in the silicon lottery and the memory controller does not like that memory / speeds
And what bios are you on?

    Nope Slots 2 and 4

Look at page 22 of the manual for the full picture

    From page 27

You must populate even-slots (2, 4) first. The board will not boot if only oddslots
    (1, 3) are populated.

With that above if you had just had slot 2 populated then yes it might have worked. Lots 1 and 2 was probably the issue

There is also this bit on that page -

Note: The memory controller on most Coffee Lake-S CPUs runs at a default
frequency of 2666MHz. Achieving memory speeds above 2666MHz+ may
require manual setting of the memory timings, frequency and voltages and/or
    overclocking of the CPU.

    Google the term silicon lottery

To get 4000 to work you'll most likely need to tweak your vsa & vccio voltages to 1.25v - 1.35v.

Simply enable xmp & set your voltages up like I said then save and exit the bios. See if that works or not.

    Ty
So load profile , change de voltage littel bit higher 1.25v ~ 1.35v and done ? no need for me to weak vsa & vccio ? on the official website of corsair it is written :

    Tested Voltage : 1.35V
    Tested Latency : 19-23-23-45
