Well all I can say is with this BIOS, S3 sleep now works with Win 7 SP1 on my E758 board. That alone is worth it to me.
Thanks for the info. Will try it on Micro board soon.

This seems to happen from time to time - not restricted to this BIOS. I wonder if it is a KBD vs BIOS issue somehow. Anything unusual about your keyboard? Try a wired keyboard, maybe? Or just _any_ other keyboard?
Just (another) WAG, Z.
Tried a different keyboard and same thing happens just sits there at BIOS screen..
Try burning a fresh ISO disk using the one built in to Win 7. That one has never failed me yet
Tried that and W7 is all I have used with no problems until now with my Classified 3 MB, I even tried Active ISO burning software.

I didn'y have an underscore in my file name. Not sure if it was added automatically. The bin file download has no space or underscore. Just throwing that out there. Good Luck!

Just got done playing in the bios with the 80 bios. I have no idea what they changed related to memory but WOW. I was unable to do much with my 24 Gig of Corsair Vengeance Ram before this. Just tweaked my timings (8-9-8-24 @ 1678 1.53v) and pushed the bclock to 168 and ran Everest. Before I couldn't get better than 51.9 for Latency. Now I am getting smoother desktop performance and 40.7 Latency. Whatever this bios did, EVGA just retained a life long Customer. Sweet Update!

I have been running my system with a heavy overclock for business as well as games (son) with absolutely no issues. Furthermore I had just updated the firmware on a 240 GB RevoDriveX2 (boot drive). I was concerned about my ability to retain the overclock as well as the impact on the PCI E based SSD raid zero. The Bios worked like a charm. Was able to restore all my overclock settings and had absolutely no issues with the SSD drives. Thanks guys.

Just flash back with older BIOS. There are always exceptions.

Bios 78 was horrible with my system. It made post wicked slow and limited a lot of my settings. Like Iradunovic said, flash back to your older bios and try another when it comes. It took me all of five minutes to flash this one. Every board is different as you know, EVGA helped a lot of people with this update, your time will come. Definitely not enough of a boost to lose sleep over. Now you have something to look forward to.

I went and bought a 4GB USB drive for $6.99 that I set up with the flash utility. This is my dedicated BIOS flashing USB drive and is only used for that purpose. Now, when a new BIOS is released, I simply replace the previous .bin with the new one and flash the new BIOS. Burning .iso files to CDs seems like a waste to me...

Same here. I have an old 256 MB flash drive I found in a drawer set up as a bootable drive. I use it to flash bios, firmware and so on. Took me a while to discover this no brainer and stop going through the hassle every time new software arose. Updates are like clock work now for all my hardware.

Very happy with this updated bios. Running at the same overclock, 4.0 with a slight bump in CPU Vcore needed for stability. A very mild performance increase on my Intel X25m Raid 0 array. Rock solid stable for me though, with 0 issues. This type of hardware support is why i purchased EVGA in the first place, as well as their lifetime hardware guarantee. Jacob, I am glad your listening in here and are passing our concerns along, keeping our hardware current.

Wondered why i got a memory dump today out of the blue. I upgraded to the 80 BIOS not so long ago. It seems these new BIOS had automatically set my RAM voltage 1.7v Bug much? Anyway i set it back to 1.6 and the system is running fine again and has been all day. Can we get this fixed while the BIOS are still in Beta?

When you update the Bios on any computer you should never use any of your old settings, either clear the cmos or atleast load defaults inside Bios and reset your settings manually (don't use a saved profile made on an older bios)
