Let me get this straight: VT has been 'fixed'? S3 Resume doesn't mess with ram timings anymore? And SLI performance improves from Bios 49? Oh Wait April Fools!!!!

using the older bios (S2Z something and/or 44) i still get the double pump issue even tough VT is disabled in the BIOS! should this only happens if VT is enabled?

Bah, if 51 still gets a double pump on VT, you might as well use SZ2Z (I have a 758) or whatever came right before 44. :\ I would only use 51 if you have a Gulftown. If they ever fix the VT issue, I'll reflash, but I'm sticking with SZ2Z.

I'm with Alucard, I'm just going to wait it out and skip this one. That's some scarry stuff when things get changed from the "wake up" mode in the system. 49 "aka"[ 50] is doing just fine for me right now. And I don't miss the "double pump" either.

uncore .5x multiplier fix? Unless I'm not understanding this right isn't gulftown supposed to allow 1.5x ram speed for the uncore? That seems like a very crucial feature to have missing from the bios!

Balthazor Running the Extreme pre-set, I am seeing a 10% drop in my GPU score using the 51 vs. S61J. I rolled back to S61J. I couldn't detect any particular setting that would account for this lower GPU score; from what I could tell the PCI-E slots were running at x16 2.0, and everything else was configured the same between the two BIOSes. Weird. Yeah both of us had that same behavior with 49 but for some reason this time with 51 I'm running fine. I ran the Performance presets in 3DMark and also Extreme and they both resulted in similar results that I'd gotten from S61J. I did have to end up bumping up my CPU vcore two notches higher than what it was in S61J to get everything perfectly stable. Do you happen to recall what I told you my Extreme performance was when I ran it that time? Funny thing is, I think I have an even better result than I had back then (I think I was on 10.2 ATI drivers which should be able to the same speed as the 10.3a drivers I'm using right now). My score from just a few minutes ago on Extreme is X28043.

eldan90 Nice EVGA... now my computer only shows 4GB of RAM instead of 6GB after this updated, I returned to the BIOS 49 and the problem still there, I cleared the CMOS and still the same. Any solution for this? Orici Does this update work better then 44,49 with Bloomfield CPUs? (Core i7 920) eldan90: If the problem shows with both bios then shut all power down to system, press clear cmos for 5sec. While power is off, check mem to make sure seated properly. Also check cpu. When booting back up, go into bios a load defaults and reboot the re-enter bios. Check under Standard Bios and check amount of mem listed. Manually set bios settings needed then reboot. Do not load in old bios profiles. Enter settings manually for each profile the save. Orici: No it does not.

Just curious did you guys check the voltage test points for actual vdimm?? Asking cuz on my e758 board, I set it to 1.65v in bios and eleet shows 1.71v, but using the dmm at the test point it showed 1.66v. Same thing with my cpu vtt voltage; I set it to +150mv in eleet, it shows at 1.34v in eleet and at test point its 1.26v. My point is the sensors aren't the most accurate, and if you want an accurate reading the test points are the only way to go.
