Can anyone explain what exactly these firmware updates through PX1 do? They are not Vbios updates, so they are just updating fan / rgb firmware?? How can this cause black screen / crashing issues? It does not make sense to me. These things should be completely separate.

Could be coincidental but I only had issues after PX1 update on the first card, as a lot of others have had this is the only like between all the failures, can’t say why some go through no issues and someone else ends up with a bricked unit, but common denominator is this as it’s always after the update that people have issues. 1.1.4 was my one, now my black lip 3090 has no problems with the update
