May we get an updated list of Thermal Pad dimensions for the ICX range of cards? Looking into modding a few, would prefer to replace the old pads with new ones after pulling and replacing the coolers.

It appears that the dropbox images are gone. Is there a place where the details of all pad sizes, positions, and thicknesses is presented with images?

Hmm, not sure what happened here. I still have the images, so I'll reupload them today. Edit: Fixed.

The problem is evga told me to look at this post. That they are the same. The problem is that I don't see where the ones under the baseplate are. Only those who go above this

You have a 08G-P4-6686-KR ?
I have the 08G-P4-6684-KR I read what it says in the link, but it only says that most of it is 1mm. It doesn't even mention where.

Cool GTX This may be of help to you:
There are many pictures of the disassembled GPU in that link -- I had thought they would help you
Yeah, but I can't tell the measurements just by looking at it.

OK, you looking for the dimensions of the thermal pads? EVGA CS can't provide a more complete list of the overall sizes required for your GPU ? Which thermal Pad(s) do you need ? After web search or two ... all I found was these EVGA FAQ
Might have to measure the ones on your card; so you know what to order
I wrote to the evga rma. But they told me to come to this post. They simply told me that they are "similar". But here it doesn't say either the thickness that takes between the baseplate and the pcb

I tried to request a set from Evga, In one email they said yes and then in another email they said they were out of them. Seems like it should be an easy question for them to answer far as measurements

Is EVGA still providing these? I know my card is long out of warranty but I just found out (verified by S/N) that my 1080 FTW does not have the thermal pad mod applied.

EVGATech_LeeM Given that the Classified uses a 1.5mm pad for the same area, I would still probably recommend 1.5mm. As far as 2mm goes, it may make the baseplate a little harder to screw back down, but nothing inherently wrong with the idea. However, after first screwing the baseplate back on, I'd suggest checking the three memory pads on the opposite side of the PWM area relative to the MOSFETS to make sure they're making good contact, since the memory pads should be 1.5mm thick.
But 1.5mm still leaves these two mosfets with no contact. Ill try 2mm, it should compress enough to not interfere with VRAM pad. Thanks!
Hey Guys, today Im having the same question: Should I try 2mm on the two mosfets? Am I risking lifting the plate interrupting contact to the 1.5mm chips? Would tighten the screws help in that case? My 1080FTW would hard crash the pc under heavy load (mostly gaming, DayZ/Pubg)
