Hi,

Just got this PSU on sale at a Micro Center in my area. I plugged it up into my machine (everything as far as I know is connected, and I’ve double checked everything. The only thing I did not have connected was the Molex/PERIF cable, but to my knowledge there was nothing it could have plugged into) and the PSU did not spin up. The LEDs on the RAM were lit, but nothing else on the motherboard was activating. I opted to try and use the provided PSU test. I did manage to get the fan to spin for half a second, but then it turned off and proceeded to stay like that.

I figured it may have to do with the Auto-ECO Mode, which makes it so it does not start up completely until hitting ~55 degrees C. I decided to replug everything back in and try and have the PSU warm up while a load was being fed into it. It did not spin at all and remained cold even though the LED on the RAM was lit, indicating there was power.

I am going to call Micro Center in the morning, but on the offchance that I’m missing something, I figured it might be best to post here. Suggestions appreciated.

Update: I put in my old parts to see if anything is amiss with the machine itself. It booted up fine.

If the system doesn’t run when you try to power on the system then I would rma the psu.

Wisdom112, I checked your account, doesn't look like an RMA has been set up for your Power Supply yet. I sent you an email regarding the issue. Please feel free to respond to that and we would be happy to get this resolved.
