I've owned this GPU for half a year now, and ever since I got it I keep getting constant gpu driver crashes, no matter what game, it can happen after 5minutes to up to 4hours of gaming, I have done all I can think of when it comes to trouble shooting, even went out to change my other parts such as PSU, Mobo, CPU, Ram and got new ssd drive to see if it was OS drive's fault. I have reinstalled windows, DDU reinstalled drivers, memtests, downlocked my gpu (which basically extended the play time but issue persisted) I am running out of options and am considering doing RMA on this graphics card, im writing this post however to see if theres anything else I could do when it comes to troubleshooting.

Thanks in advance

Try the card on another system to see if the issue will follow the card before doing an rma.

Cant do, I dont have such opportunity atm, and also RMA to germany is more problematic than it should due to UK leaving the EU, and i've seen stories where people had to pay hundreds of pounds because of EVGA invalid invoicing for the deliveries.
My only option atm is to do a vBios flash however this being my only gpu im hesitant.

Have the card checked at a local pc shop.

$: Sajin had the best idea, take it by a PC shop and let them test is before you Rma,
    still looking for ideas...
Looks like you built a new PC around your card and it still persists?
    1. What is your current hardware config. now?
2: What games are you running when it crashes? and...
3: what are your temps and clocks/vitals when you crash ?

    This ^
Check power target (set 90%) and build a fans curve.
Also (for testing purposes) hit the card all 3 fans at 80% fixed and see what happen.
BTW I have the EVGA RTX 370 (since Nov 2020) and no crashes at all.

The temps sit comfortably at around 60-65c degrees, clocks are at 1950mhz and 7000mhz
Crashes happen in games like destiny 2, metro exodus, gta 5 and war thunder the only ones i play.
    Hardware 5600x, rm850, asus b550-f, corsair ddr4 3600mhz
I’ll try to set power target to 90% and set up a curve for it too and come back with the resultd

Temps and clocks are same as mine, so cooling is not a problem.
Next in my book is voltage drop problem (could be PSU or mobo).
Corsair PSU with 850W is enough to power your rig (I have EVGA 850 gold).
I am Intel orientated but Asus motherboards are rock solid products an it is unlikely that gaming crashes are mobo related.

If you still have gaming crash with power set to 90% and GPU fans on aggressive curve or at fixed 80% rpm  (as last test resort) I would suggest you to RMA the card.

Done few hours of gaming without crashing on 90% did approx 4hrs then decided to come off, the next day D3D device was lost on Jedi Fallen Order and couple of broccoli (yep thats the error code) errors on destiny 2. I cant RMA the card, so I will be taking it to the website i got it from I guess, if not sell the card as broken and buy myself AMD gpu or atleast stay far away from 30 series especially EVGA. Thank you all for your support and possible troubleshooting options.

I've managed to find this in the event viewer, i cant seem to find what ID0 is though, This is the error that makes my games crash.
The description for Event ID 0 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
The following information was included with the event:
    \Device\Video3
    Error occurred on GPUID: 700
The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table

By any chance, do you have Precision X1 installed to monitor temperature and fan speed.

Also did you look inside the case if you have a lot of dust that will definately lower cooling performance like 10 times especially in a smoking environnement.

The 3070 series and higher need way more cooling than the 2070 series because of ram clock.  My 2070 i O/C the ram at 8000 mhz without any need of hard cooling and fans are at 35%.  My 3070 TI before i RMA upgrade it to a 3090 was insanely hot on VRAM if i keep glass side on my 4000D Airflow case and fans under 75%.

Simply enthousiasmic about computer since 1992

Yes I use precision x1 for getting temps and etc, and pc has been recently re-built with new components anyway, I cant see much dust hardly any comes in due to the filters my case has, and when it comes to cooling it my 4000x has 3 front fans, 2 fans on the top and 1 rear fan also used for CPU liquid cooling.
I know the 30 series are very problematic probably one of the most since the fermi series, if it comes to VRAM temps i havent managed to see if thats the reason for the crashes, but my gpu temps at highest will sit at 67/68 and thats under heavy load when doing stress tests (for stability checks) i had my 980 founders and 980ti MSI sit at 80's before without the crashes, even my older 3070 Palit didnt crash, but it wasnt fully utilized due to my CPU at the time being r5 2600 so cant verify if it would crash same as the EVGA 3070

This is going to sound a bit silly considering everything you've tried, but I have had a similar driver crashing issue with most of the early 500-series drivers. I did two things that seemed to help. First, I used the last 400-series driver from December for quite some time, but I've been able to use the last 2-3 drivers as well. It could be worth trying an old driver, just to see if it helps (clean install it).

Second, when you install your drivers, did you have Precision X1 running? I found that it can cause some corruption that only really presents itself in stability/crashing issues if you leave it running while installing a video driver. Make sure it is closed before installing your driver.

Realistically, with everything else you've done, it sounds like you might have a hardware problem with the card. I'd want to at least check and see what the RMA option looks like (check with EVGA not just stories from other people). I know their support in EU is not as straight-forward so I'm sorry I can't really give any advice there. I think checking with the site you got it from is also a decent idea because the card is still under warranty and maybe if they're a distributor they have a path to RMA the card.

Managed to meet my friend who lives a bit further away and managed to test my 3070 on his PC and it started crashing on his set up same way it did on mine, I also tried his 3080 on mine and worked perfectly fine, so it only leaves me to RMA the card unfortunately. So will take like months shame.
