That’s interesting. The first shots showed a 120mm clc. I wonder if that’s the reason for the delayed launch. It never made sense to me that the Kingpin would have a 120mm clc in the first place. This is great news if it’s correct. I’ve been sitting on the sidelines of the 2080ti launch to determine if I’m jumping in this generation or if I’m waiting until the next launch. Coming from a 1080ti FTW3 so it’s not a matter of need.

Yes, they said in an earlier Gamer's Nexus EVGA Lab Tour Video that their original plan was to use a 120 mm radiator but they changed their mind to use a 240 mm radiator after doing some testing.

Hi, what's your experience with the aorus version with 240mm radiator? I have been looking into some alternative to pure air cooling but not full custom water loop as I cant afford that and this seemed pretty promising. Unfortunately I couldnt find any proper reviews of it.
Kingpin looks great but considering just regular ftw3 costs over 1400 euros + shipping it will be way over my budged if it is even available in enough numbers for Europe when it comes out. EVGA hybrids have problem with pump noise + I am not thrilled with the fact it only has 120mm radiator for the price.
So my only options which I could find were this Aorus version and combination of Kraken G12+X62 on some more basic model with evga bios.

Therefore it would be great if you could give me a bit of recap of your experience with it. What are the temps during regular use (games etc), how loud the fans are on the radiator, overall build quality etc.

It would be great if EVGA would tell us when it's coming out and how much it costs.... I'm tired of the slow-drip of marketing-hype videos. We're in April ffs...

Degen, my guess would be when the cards are finished production and testing, and they have enough to sell, they will announce them. These aren’t produced in the same sense that Galax and Asus push out their parts.

Vince and Ilya actually put a ton of work into these to get them just right for taking all of the records on leaderboards.

I was in the same boat as you i didn't want to mess around with a custom water loop but i wanted a quite computer
at full load. The Aorus keeps all the heat out of my Lian Li O11 Dynamic case...my temps are 48c to 55c overclocked
at full load with plus 75 core and 500 mem... i didn't hit the silicon lotto but at least its cool and quite

I was in the same boat as you i didn't want to mess around with a custom water loop but i wanted a quite computer
at full load.My EVGA 2080ti ftw has high mem 2 mem 3 temps hitting around 85c to 95c so i may need to rma it.
As for the Aorus i love it keeps all the heat out of my Lian Li O11 Dynamic case...my temps are 48c to 55c overclocked
at full load with plus 75 core and 500 mem... i didn't hit the silicon lotto but at least its cool and quite

    Thx for the info.
Will probably go for it. Either that or 2080 version.
Heh thats pretty bad OC but considering even on good one the difference is barely noticeable in games I would personally be happy enough with the nice temp drop for better price than ftw3.

Btw is it possible to change the fans or are they fixed through the cables?
