so many bugs in this version for start i cant enable k boost its grey out i have latest drivers for 780 ti also the fps are all wrong from osd in games i am lock at 60 fps and it says 120 also the font of osd is so big make an option to make it smaller come on

have litter issues with my X 15/16 i play games like AION WOW Dawngate this games you use comammds wtih CTRL key like CTRL +1 and i try to changa hotkeys and skill having same problem when i have EVGA Pression x15/16 dosent work just when i close the aplication with riva tunner i dont have this problem can anyone help me with this problem how to fix or disable this command in EVGA sofware

Precision_X 5.2.0 won't install anywhere except the C:/ drive; release 4.2.1 gave me an option to select an install drive.
Who the **** does your software QA/QC work, EVGA? Find out and fire their asses!!!
Or have the mainland Chinese bought too much of your company's stock too?
One very pissed off customer!!!

My Precision X does not start on Windows startup!
Am I the only one with this issue? I enabled "startup" and "start with windows" and "start minimized" tom no avail!
I also did a complete uninstall and re-installed it and nothing changed.
I really like the 1.3v overvoltage for my 780 ti classy, it allowed my gpu to hit 1306 on 1.25!
I just want it to work on windows start if anyone here can help me?

The program doesn't start up properly with windows and the OSD flat out does not work in anything.

I don't understand why EVGA doesn't take the downloads off their website and tell everyone to use PrecisionX 4.21 until
they get the new version fixed!
Too much trouble to even think about using the new one.

I notice custom fan profile always need to be changed from default if you use Aggressive or Quiet.

I was getting a really strange problem, I couldn't launch heaven or valley benchmark in fullscreen mode and I couldn't launch watch dogs in fullscreen mode either, got some kind of Dx11 error. I tried closing precisionx and it still didn't work. This happened completely randomly I hadn't even changed any settings.
Restarted computer and then it worked. Really strange bug though, not even sure if precision X caused the problem or not.

If they would host the previous version on the site, I think some people would download it. Maybe they want people to keep using this version to get all the bugs worked out?
Anyway, I'm thinking about moving on from this and MSI Afterburner. RivaTuner may have something to do with it, I don't know how often it is updated, but maybe it needs to be. I haven't tried ASUS GPU Tweak, but I doubt I will just because I am sick of having issues with overclocking software. I guess it is BIOS tweaks and OS stuff for a while.
Actually, I think I will start coding something as a replacement for all these programs. I plan to use nvclock source as well as open hardware monitor source to start, and then add features, improve the application, and fix bugs. It will be on my GitHub in the near future. Link here:

Uninstall Riva. I don't believe this new version uses it. (At least there's that, which I can respect.) Yes, too many bugs (or at least issues) for a release version! Maybe EVGA can hire you.  How are you on all the I/O interfaces needed for this kind of software/hardware programming? Seems like that would take a bit of work (or at least knowledge) to set up correctly within safe limits for these various kinds of cards. (I don't have much experience programming on the hardware interface side of things... beyond programming Arduinos.) Just a heads up:
If you uninstall Precision X16 and have already re-installed "Arial Bold" after it botched it; be warned that uninstalling Precision X16 will completely remove the system installed, default "Arial Bold" as well and you'll have to copy and install it from another non-borked (courtesy of Precision X16) version of Windows.

for some reason the FPS counter in precision x 16 is showing double the FPS in metro last light and a few other games, so say the game is running at 60 frames the OSD or LCD(on my G19) is showing 120fps, i noticed this is one of the lvls wen the game looked to be running at a low fps but it said i was at 70fps, i then ran fraps and it was definitely running lower, has anyone found a fix or just go back to an older version that still uses River tech??

My mouse cursor disappears in Diablo 3 and League of legends when I run precision 16. Closing the program fixes the problem immediatly.

So been consumed with FIFA 15 UT this week - played all week.
Installed Precision X 16 this AM and tried to sneak a lunchtime match in-between meetings!!
As soon as it was installed FIFA started up and even the initial loading screens just were coming in all stop-and-go and everything took ages to load - pretty much like my entire system had slowed down to a crawl but there was no other running process eating things up... really strange.
Running two EVGA Titans in SLI - SC version. i74790k, 16 gigs @ 2.4 ghz windows 8.1
I uninstalled it and FIFA loaded up fine and my game worked great (except for fact I lost)
Maybe it is, maybe it isn't PrecisionX - all i know is it was only system change that coincided with the weird game launching, when removed everything went back to normal. I dont feel like troubleshooting this so its easier just to not use it.
I remember after my 580 this software was pretty good - but even before I went SLI precisionX 15 (the brief time I had it installed) and the one prior were causing hangups in Tomb Raider even with no OC - issues went away after uninstalled.
Value I get from the software is less than my willijngness to spend much time on it - hoping you can smooth it out EVGA cause for moment I have bit of a crisis of confidence in this application. When I start hitting the roof on my system capacity with a modern game I will want to push farther - now everything is more than juiced for games running @ stock. I hope by the time I need that extra push PrecisionX is in better shape!

I am seeing a similar thing to the user having issues with Diablo III, in Rift the custom cursors some of them are conflicted with Precision X 16, the cursor disappears for example when hovering over an enemy, or trying to apply an enchant to an item, or trying to disassemble an item you have crafted, basically any time there is a custom soft cursor Precision X seems to make it disappear.
Any ideas as to why?
By the way I confirmed it is definitely Precision X, uninstalled it and my cursors are back to normal in Rift, please look into this, I love the new Precision, just makes playing some of my favorite game nearly impossible as you can not see the mouse pointer in game
I also have this issue. I just turned it off and Rift custom mouse over icons are back to normal. It would sometimes show the icon from far away, but not from up close. Also, sometimes it would not display some icons, but display others.

When running My mouse pointer disappears in games GW2 , Starcraft 2, Fallen enchantress, impossible to play - kill it - fixed. Uninstall till not so buggy version , i had no problems with previous version. Also GW 2 crashes a lot when Precision X is running EVGA 770 2 GB Intel I7 920 - 2.8 ghz Ram 6GB

Precsion X Causes the League of Legends Client (PVP.NET) to become unresponsive. client visually stops updating (I can still interact with it because I can still hear menus opening and chat being typed but I am unable to see any of it) the actual game works fine (once I restart my client).
for now I am going to re-install the previous version of Precision X

Another little bug I can't seem to turn on either over voltage or kboost. The buttons just don't respond for me.
I have the same issue. they toggle on, then toggle right back off immediately. Won't allow me to over volt at all. what is the point then :)

I can't seem to overvolt my 770 Classy 4GB (w/ blower fan).
I can activate it and apply the desired voltage, but it stays at 1200mV.

I am seeing none of the issues you are all mentioning, except for the key you choose for OSD then will not work normally while PX16 is running. But I just installed it today and did limited testing. I think the skin is fabulous, way better than priors. On my 780TI classified it now overclocks with ease; plugged in +147mhz and +195mhz mem, 1.212v and OOPS! there goes gravity, spun up to 1306 in Heaven benchmark. I don't know how, but I am getting frame rate in BF4 without OSD in PX16 on! But somehow I have it on without running PX16. PS: I am one that reported frame rates dropping to near zero with old OSD framerate turned on in BF4. Quit using Precision for a while but now everyting is ok with PX16. I wonder if the conflict was with RIVA on previous Precisions? I'm using RIVA now and no problems. I got rid of all old Precision versions, glad it no longer just stacks new ones in with all the old. Windows 7 64bit

When Precision is running rFactor2 crashes when you join an online session. Offline sessions are not affected. Closed and restarted game, rebooted computer - no effect.

Well my bug is that when it starts all I see is this.  Then this.......   This happens no matter what computer I put it on in my home. The above shots are from a fresh install of windows on the system below.

Idk if anyone is getting my problem but I don't seem to have many of the problems you guys having. Literally about every second, my cursor shows the circular blue "thinking" icon with mouse. It'll show up with regular mouse every second and continue like this forever. Not sure why since x16 installed this is happening, but kinda annoying. I can deal with it but would like to know also how to make it stop so if anyone notices this while in win8/8.1 whilst just navigating windows normally, let me know.

Settings for Framerate Target as well as Start With OS and Start Minimized reset to their default values (Off) every time I reboot my PC. Edit: Oh yeah, and Precision hijacked my Arial Bold font, like it did to everyone else.

I've searched this forum and cannot find whether or not anyone has found out how to turn K-Boost OFF. My cards runs at full speed all the time with x16 running and idle at 45C because of it, when normally they're don about 28-30. I've seen other people talk about it, but I can't find an answer or someone say it is either a documented bug and no fix is available, or if there is a fix. Is there a way to turn k-boost off? My radio button does not work.
