I cant believe you guys... You guys spend $1400 on GPU's and then argue if a $40 bridge is worth it...

I meant for sale, not "on sale".. they are out of stock and on auto-notify. This is a non-troll forum right?

Nobody really knows. When they get them in, the auto notify will notify everyone.

Yes! Exactly.. When you try and check out it just takes you back to the cart. Happened both times I tried to buy the bridge immediately after the auto notify email arrived. Something wrong with the site. Is it available for sale anywhere else?

It is available on Amazon.com (the 02 and 04 slot spacing versions), but 2 to 4 weeks to ship :(

Right now I've got two EVGA GTX 980SC's on an ASUS Rampage V Extreme MB. I'm using slots 1 and 3 for x16-x16 and I've got one of the lighted EVGA SLI bridges, P/N: 100-3W-0032-LR, which is listed for 2 way/3 way SLI. It connects to both SLI connections on each card. If and when I ever can get a couple of the GTX 1080's, will this bridge provide the same performance as the new HB bridges? I'm running twin, 28 inch, 3840 x 2160 monitors.

Yes, about the same performance at 4k with the LED bridge. Just above 4k (aka 5k) and w/ a Surround setup, the SLI HB bridge is better.

Thanks! (I probably could have found that myself if I had put any effort into it.) I may order one of the HB bridges once I get the new cards, if they ever show up 'in stock' someplace, sometime. As someone said in an earlier post, if you're spending $1,300 to $1,400 on a couple of cards..., what's another $40. (Even with the lower gas prices at the moment, that's less than a tank of gas for my car.)

I see you're from USA, you can order directly from EVGA when available site or wait 2 to 4 weeks to ship in Amazon.com (2 and 4 slots spacing available - SLI HB from EVGA). Cheers

I think yours will be the 60mm or the 80mm bridge, could you measure the actual one? Confirm the size before and use the graph bellow.

What is meant by slot spacing? The slot with the screw on the back of the tower? If so, then there is 1 slot inbetween those two cards. Do I need then the 1 slot spacing?

It means PCI-E slots I think, I recommend you measure it before, mistaken-proof :)

^^ The industry PCI slot spacing is 20.32 millimeters (or approximately 2cm). All boards adhere to this for standardization. They are asking if you have an empty PCI slot between your cards.... or two... or three on the actual motherboard.

I'll answer again. You need 60mm. Each slot is 20 mm apart, each GPU is 40 mm thick. You have one 20mm space between cards, or "1 slot".
Shaman got it in before I could.
