Zeddivile @johnksss. Probably not. I have what shipped from Vince. slapped that icon on the KPE the day it arrived and never looked back. Did tear the card down once but that was just to check TIM and test KPX vs Kryonaught at my barely XOC temps -68c @pot. Really I think TG kryro should perf better untel at least -110c. Can't even remember what paste is on their atm. Actually I remember I got some gnarly KPX from PPCS and it was like dried out. So I swapped to Kryo will go back to KPX this week when I get an order from K|NGP|N cooling. Btw really decent shipping speeds from TW to NA via K|NGP|N 's method.
What does the one you have look like? My KPX dried out as well. I got mine when I was benching with PURE. And that was before it went on sale. Not sure what happen since it was sealed as well. Yes, that is right. I did get my stuff pretty quick back then. Edit: Also ordered my tool from Elmor. Wish he had that debugger. CaseKing doesn't sell to the US

Haha :p What’s KPE? “Noob here” also I am curious on how I will install the fans that come with the gpu. I have the storm Stryker case... am thinking of getting a thermaltake case. Can you suggest? Thank you. Is there a YouTube video btw of someone installing 2 kingpins so I can get an idea?

K|NGP|N - EVGA If you are staying with the Hybrid Cooler then you have a lot of ways to install the Radiator. They say keep the Radiator above the GPU and the Tubes at the Bottom of the Radiator when Mounting. Makes not difference if the Radiator is mounted at the Top of the Case as the Tubes will be on the Down side.

Wait I can unmount the cooler? Yes if you want to install the Hydro Copper Water Block. 400-HC-1589-B1 EVGA Hydro Copper Waterblock for EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti K|NGP|N, 400-HC-1589-B1 Or go LN2 100-AK-V200-BR RTX 2080 Ti KINGPIN LN2 KIT, 100-AK-V200-BR LN2 Extreme OC cooling compatibilityEVGA200 PCBA does not have any tall components around GPU and memory area that would prevent installing aftermarket cooling solutions and extreme OC blocks. VRM heatsinks also zoned clear away from GPU area to meet these keep out requirements. You don’t need to chop capacitors or modify stuff to fit LN2 pot onto Kingpin edition 2080 Ti RTX. Kingpincooling.com designed new extreme cooling container called ICON 3.0 that fits RTX 2080 Ti cards perfectly. It is heavier unit to occupy dual-slot height and provide large surface contact for new GPUs like Titan V “Volta” and TU102 “Turing”. It is also backward compatible with older GPUs. Kingpin cooling TEK-9 ICON 3.0 $ 309.00

I'd suggest not use HC for SLI, if you can stick both KPEs leaving the default cooling then do that. (Or save money and get normal cards and get waterblocks that don't super restrict flow.) I'm too have two KPE and not super happy with the HC. They are holding back the cards.

On the Radiator you can install any 120mm Fans you want. I had 4 Fans on mine, Remember to store the Original Fans in in the Retail Box because you will need them if you need to return the card for support.

Yay more colours. Also this is crucial question from me. I have 3 cards on my mobo atm which are 1089 x2 and one avermedia4k pcie. I know kpe is beefy and I’m wondering if I will have space with kpe for my avermedia4k pcie. It’s tiny but I’m getting the asus rog extreme vi omega. It would be helpful if you can tell me if I should look for another mobo 🧐

Sorry my fault. I meant to ask if it is still possible to add my avermedia4k card while having 2 of the rtx kingpin in it. I’m planning on buying the asus rog extreme vi omega mobo.

With a 44 Lane CPU Yes. Seems to be a limited MB for an X299 Going to be Tight. Old School 4-Pin Molex that break off real easy. https://www.avermedia.com/us/product-detail/GC573Dimension (W x D x H):125 x 151 x 21.5 mm (4.92 x 5.94 x 0.84 in)

If you use your avermedia4k your bottom vga will be sharing bandwidth with it and only run at X8 instead of X16. The kingpins are to thick with the stock hybrid cooler so you would have to put your avermedia4k in the very bottom PCIe slot.

Appreciate you both for your suggestions! Ik my random ram question was a bit off topic for this thread and I apologize for that but just wanted to update that everything is back to normal again. My msconfig settings were all whacked from testing out 4kcl12 and I totally forgot the reset that.... So, again, thank you!
Now back to the KPE fun!! Icon pot should be here in a few days. Nothing better than getting frosty on the holidays! 😊
Also. For DICE/LN2 do I “need” the kit for the OLED? Or will the ones already on the card work?

As far as the Kit I could not say. https://xdevs.com/guide/2080ti_kpe/#oledkit You may want to review this info.

bcavnaugh With a 44 Lane CPU Yes. Seems to be a limited MB for an X299 Going to be Tight. Old School 4-Pin Molex that break off real easy. https://www.avermedia.com/us/product-detail/GC573 Dimension (W x D x H):125 x 151 x 21.5 mm (4.92 x 5.94 x 0.84 in)
It's 44 from the CPU + 4 (real) from the Chipset if using Intel Core i9 Skylake-X 79XX and the refresh 99XX versions. So in total you have 48 avaiable, of course it will depend on the mobo, from many i tried saturating ALL PCIe Lanes is not a good thing to do. Cheers! Sergio

Do I need to be on LN2 bios switch (red) to run sub zero? I have the XOC bios flashed into my OC (orange) spot but can’t recall if that has temp limits removed as well??

The normal and oc bios position keeps temp controls in place, yes the ln2 bios position removes that.

Hello everyone ! Im on a dilema.... should i get X 2 RTX 2080TI FTW HYBRID In Sli or get 1 RTX 2080ti Kingpin and another Kingpin in 3 months to put on SLI ? Im planning on playing minimum 4k as i been with my 2 gtx 980TI on SLI (which i already sold and sending them tomorrow LOL ) 1.- What Would you do ? Does 2 Kingpin with a good overclock IN SLI could give those 15-25 FPS that over the lap of 3 years with old videocards you end up needing ? 2.- Would X2 RTX 2080 FTW Hybrid DO the same job after 2-3 Years as X2 Kingpins ? I always wait this long to upgrade my videocards , usually 2-3 generations later . The difference in Money will be $1000 Bucks basically . Thoughts ?

1 2080ti kingpin would do 4k no issues. I'd say the ftw3 ultra hybrid bit the hybrid cooler with its single 120mm rad isint enough to cool it good enough. The kingpin hybrid with its 240mm hybrid is great!
Buy one.. if you feel you need more for 4k (which I doubt) buy another later..
Dont forget the associates code to save 5%.
