Yes, correct -- and that is pointed out above.  Your link (along with your embedded associate code) work to take folks to the product page but isn't an auto-notify link.

So how does that make it faster if you have to keep hitting the link until it works as opposed to refreshing the product page?

Refreshing doesn't work with server load, I think the autonotify is a direct query to database server or someone like that

It should also be noted that, in the past, sometimes the product page WILL load, but the Auto Notify "pop up" window WILL NOT load (this happened to me for the 3090 FTW3 Hybrid), so having a direct Auto-Notify link IS a good idea if you really want to get in the front of the line.  Granted, it's a 3090 so demand will be lower, but supply will be lower as well, so getting in line early, if that's the card you want, is ideal.

I know with a couple of the 3080s (and I think a 3090 hybrid), the direct autonotify link still worked even after they disabled the button. Just something to keep in mind

Anyone know if the 10AM thing is a typo & it's supposed to be 9AM or if it's actually 10AM?  In the past they've always been 9AM so I'm slightly confused... maybe because they open right at 9AM technically speaking, 10AM is a better start time?

Wow, no site crash at all this time. Normally being a couple minutes late wouldn't even have mattered because of overloaded servers, but I have a hunch 10:03 doesn't even have me on the list.
