Yes...another side benefit of the hybrid...lower ear doctor bills and deferring the cost of hearing aids....

How is the pump noise? The 2080 ti hybrid had issues with pump noise.

I just realized my old and in need of replacement badly 500R will not support the EVGA CLC280 and the Hybrid Kit.. Time to start hunting a new case I guess.
 
Any recommendations? Is that DG-76 any good? Tbh, have zero interest in RGB or Tempered Glass, as it's going under a desk and will be forgotten about.

Does anyone here have the new hybrid already and mounted in a lian li 011 case? I'm curious to see your placement and how far the hoses can go.

hoses are more than long enough on side as intake, top 2 120mm slots and i use another fan intakinh below the mounted rad. hoses line up perfectly with pci-e slot if you have them oriented at the base of rad when upright (hoses at the bottom)

I'm more curious about how it fits in with the side panel. Do you have it mounted normally or vertically mounted? One of the reasons I was actually ok with going for the XC3 Hybrid instead of the FTW3 Hybrid was because the XC3 is listed as being over an inch shorter, meaning you're more likely to be able to get your tubes to bend down without crimping too hard against the side panel, I figure... I'll let you know if/when I get a chance to order mine and get it installed, heh.

Just ordered my Hybrid Conversion kit for my 3080 FTW3 Ultra. I am crossing my fingers that the hoses will fit without too much trouble up against the glass panel... I have an O11 Dynamic (non XL).

I got my 3090 XC3 yesterday and it is awesome! I play on my Predator x34p monitor and Cyberpunk plays extremely well with everything max and DLSS Q on. I will try it on my 4K TV later today to see how it plays. I expect it to play pretty well. Temps stay at a solid 58c full load and drop to 25c at idle.

My hybrid kit is supposed to arrive on Monday, and while I have a decent amount of experience building pc’s, I have never taken apart a gpu and so am a little apprehensive.  I realize that there are vids out there on how to install hybrid kits with older cards, but does anyone know if EVGA has made one on how to do it with the 3000 series cards (specifically the 3080 ftw3)?

Does anyone know if the powerlink fits the 3888?  If so I will order one at the same time I purchase my card.

Did you mount it on the inside of the case or were you able to put the rad on the backside? I was hoping it would fit in the back with the hoses coming out up top or bottom so the three intake side fans still sit flush. Having two fans pushed further out and one recessed drives my ocd crazy. Do you have a pic of your set up you care to share? I'm curious to see how it looks.

No the  powerlink does not fit the 30 series cards. We have to wait for them to come out with a new one.

Man I'm torn... I missed the first HC quee because i clicked on the wrong card. 3080 FTW3 hybrid and just got purchase email for it. So now not sure if i should just secure the hybrid card and custom waterblock it or hope and pray i can get in the next unknown HC quee. Please share your wisdom!!!
