What sort of performance difference should we see between a 3080 FTW3 Ultra and Hybrid?  I haven't been able to find any benchmarks for the FTW3 Hybrid.

Same here. Registered today and received a notify to purchase. I've never had a hybrid card before but being at how much heat these 3090's put out I am excited for it.

Does anyone here have the new hybrid already and mounted in a lian li 011 case? I'm curious to see your placement and how far the hoses can go.

hoses are more than long enough on side as intake, top 2 120mm slots and i use another fan intakinh below the mounted rad. hoses line up perfectly with pci-e slot if you have them oriented at the base of rad when upright (hoses at the bottom)

this is the way.

Does the fan on the FTW 3090, the card not the RAD, stop spinning at idle? 

My 980 Ti Hybrid and 1080 Ti Hybrid both behaved this way. GPU fan only went on under heavy load.

I received some referrals from what appears to be the Hybrid Kit. I do believe it is possible. Make sure when you put in a code that it's a valid one. Also if you yourself are already an associate it will not let you put in a code (they don't want us double dipping it seems. )

it did for me

I got my 3090 XC3 yesterday and it is awesome! I play on my Predator x34p monitor and Cyberpunk plays extremely well with everything max and DLSS Q on. I will try it on my 4K TV later today to see how it plays. I expect it to play pretty well. Temps stay at a solid 58c full load and drop to 25c at idle. 

I got a 360 cpu aio on top of my case. It's going to be a pain to put it at front and reverse the fans, then put the hybrid kit rad on top... Also removing the thermal putty on these cards... Why evga? Should have just used thermal pads... First world problems lol

I'm more curious about how it fits in with the side panel. Do you have it mounted normally or vertically mounted? One of the reasons I was actually ok with going for the XC3 Hybrid instead of the FTW3 Hybrid was because the XC3 is listed as being over an inch shorter, meaning you're more likely to be able to get your tubes to bend down without crimping too hard against the side panel, I figure... I'll let you know if/when I get a chance to order mine and get it installed, heh.

i removed the evga fans and put 2 noctua high static pressure fans on the rad which are directly connected to pwm headers on the mobo. separate fan curves for the gpu. not sure what the behavior is directly connected to the card

The fan on the physical card is the same as the fan on non-hybrid cards... they fans never stop, they just slow down and are dead-silent.  you can use PX1 to control the fan curves.
 
BTW - I did the same thing for my RAD, but 4 noctua high static rad specific fans for a push-pull combo,  primarily so I can keep the RPM and noise at total silence yet still move a lot of CFM over it.

Probably more stable clocks and not bouncing up and down like on air. I would guess 2ghz stable wouldn't be s problem...

Edit: was trying to quote the guy that asked what kind of clocks/performance can we expect..

I think this, but mostly it's 5000% (approximately) great control over getting hot air out of the case and the fact it's totally silent at full load.
 
Don't expect actual performance improvement... 50 or 75mhz won't register in a game as anything.  the cards are all the same and cap around 2000mhz with good cooling.
