Very disappointed with EVGA.
I have bought more than 30 cards from them in the last 5 years.
Sadly I don't know when we will be able to buy these Kingpin cards in the UK.
EVGA should treat all its loyal customers the same, not just those in the USA.
Supply chain is broken worldwide... and EVGA did treat their loyal customers right by offering KP cards to Elite Members first lol
I think I am a loyal customer bearing in mind the number of cards I have bought from them including Kingpins.
So how did I end up not being an Elite Member?
you didn't register products or you bought the items from a non-registered EVGA affiliate? I became an elite member after buying my first 2080 with them last year, just had to register it and apply for the elite membership, did it before the 3080 was launched

Yeah I became an Elite member when I got the 2080ti KP. Just had to register the card and got an email after on how to sign up to be a member

I have just checked and I have been an Elite member since 2017. Having said that there is no option to ask to go on the 3090 Kingpin waiting list. This could be because I don't live in the States.

I know this has been stated somewhere and wasn't able to watch the entire stream, but what PSU are they using during this OC stream? and i know it says 750w PSU min on product page, but for a mid level OC, what would be suggested? 1000w high enough for these cards?
Pretty sure they all run 1600T2's. Vince runs a 2000watt or something, not sold in the US market.
Thats correct, if your running single GPU in N.America 1600 is ideal, you can get away with 1k if not on LN2. The 2k PSU would be better if you have access to 220v as you can run at 1/2 the amps which is cooler and safer.
So if i am just going to keep the base 360mm AIO and do a moderate OC on it, nothing extreme, i should be fine with a 1000w? Since i am in NA? was just curious if it would be worth it with the 1000w and try for the KPE or if i should go with the 3090 Hybrid
The Kingpin page says: - Minimum of a 750 Watt power supply.
- Three available 8-pin or 6+2pin PCIe power dongles
- Total Power Draw : 350 Watts
- ----I'd imagine you'd be fine with a 1000W. 750 is probably pushing it, but you're probably pretty safe beyond 850.

Man I'm bummed. I had a feeling the cards would "release" around the stream and I missed my "elite member" opportunity due to work/life commitments. I know there isn't a perfect system, but it's very tough for guys who have "full time lives" to camp out and wait for a card to be released "sometime" and expect to have an opportunity to buy a product...... Maybe the 15th will bring me more luck but I'm guessing not, as this will be open to the general population and be even more difficult. Just maybe, EVGA will allow Elite Members a hydrocopper window as they did with the AIO's first round.

Hydro copper is the gpu with water block pre installed for a custom loop where you use your own pump, reservoir, and radiator.

I have 1000W 80+ gold. I have an i9 9900k @5.0GHz. Do I need a bigger power supply if I’m gonna overclock the 3090 kingpin to its limits on ambient (no ln2 or any fancy cooling)?
What card are you running now and what are you pulling from the wall?
I’m running a strix 2080ti. Can’t remember how mich I’m pulling from the wall while under full load I have to run rivertuner to check while playing a game
Do, that and order one of these. https://www.amazon.com/killawatt-meter/s?k=killawatt+meter They are very useful to see what youre drawing from your panel. You don't want to go over 75% of what your circuit is rated for. Once you know what you are actually pulling from the wall you can upgrade the PSU if you need more. Just remember the more amps you pull the hotter the wiring will get. Safety first. Hire a licensed electrician to to upgrade the circuit your pulling from.

The notification que lasted maybe 30 seconds at most yesterday. They have started a new notification que style with the kingpin and the hybrid cards for now, if you manage to get a notification que spot you are guaranteed a card in that particular batch.

The 1st auto notify was only for evga elite members and it was only for the 1st wave of cards. The auto notify was removed after they reached the amount of cards they can ship by mid December. Another auto notify will probably appear in the mid of December for the 2nd wave.

Their blocks are top notch, but the other components are not a focus and may just be more of a way to rounding out their watercooling products. They are probably good at doing their job of holding water and will match the blocks (if that's what you're going for). Just wanted to put that out there.

It appears to have lasted 23 seconds from first known registration to last. 6:00:32 to 6:00:55. Yikes!
