I believe the standard warranty transfers with the card.  The enhanced warranties, unless there has been a recent change to policy, do not.

Yeah, the standard warranty transfers which is more than enough for most people buying on eBay anyway. Also that assumption of keeping the best silicon is exactly what some people are doing! Most of the items are listed as new though, so that won't apply there.
 
Hopefully we see the KPE today/tomorrow!

Ah well, if I understand the EVGA website correctly, KPs will only be available in the US / Americas: the European site still doesn't even show the hydro coppers / hybrids and I am sure it won't list the KP either, so one has to either wait or try to trick at checkout - which is a bit risky considering the price.
 
Would be sad to have to take my business elsewhere. :(
 

Yeah, I feel you man. Its a US company so they will naturally service their domestic customers first. You may have better luck with Galax.

Not yet. It supposed to be sometime this week, but other than that, we have nothing concrete.

This is exactly what will happen. Regular 3090s go for over $2200 on ebay. Imagine the profit margin scalping a Kingpin.

I don't think it would be that much.  If people are willing to spend $2200 on a 3090 on ebay, then they may opt to buy a KPE card at the same price if it's available.  Those same folks probably wouldn't spend any more on ebay on a KPE card and just go with the overpriced 3090.  And those that really want a KPE card, might just wait it out if scalpers are gonna be that much higher.  As Sajin said, there will be multiple runs.

Yeah, I don't believe people will be trampling over one another to shell out 3k+ to a scalper for a KP card. Most people are not into LN2 and when it comes down to gaming performance is about the same as the high end 3090. I mean there are for sure people out there with more money than sense.

I'm debating whether or not to sell my FE for the KPE...

I wouldnt advise selling it first. If you can bag a KPE then sell.

Don't forget, some of the market is waiting for the 6900xt. This may help those who are wanting a KPE.
 
Plus the leaks about a 3080 TI being nearly as powerful as a 3090, may also prevent some people from trying to buy one.
 
Scalpers are the issue at hand. I am not sure what protections EVGA has actually emplaced, since I haven't been able to buy anything from them since.
