What is the power supply requirement for this card? Will 850W cut it or should I go for a 1000W?

But you have to wonder because you do not buy a Kingpin just to run it at stock. You want to OC this beast! So upgrading would be a good idea IMO.

Dont trust what techpowerup says. Even evga says 350w for the 3090 Ftw3 but at 100% power target can hit 420w and at 107% can hit 450w. Being that there is no doubt that the max power limit for the kpe will be 520-525w 750w psu isn't going to cut it. 

Hopefully they'll actually be available for purchase and not all scooped up by scalpers for eBay.

Jacob, do you have an estimated launch date for either the card or when we can click the notify button and be waitlisted?
 
Also, for anyone not intending on dropping 2500 bucks on this thang don't wait list yourselves, lol.

Indeed!!! Kingpins were meant to be pushed!

ppl who are already on a list to get a 3090 shouldn't be butthurt that they might not be able to get a kingpin. since day one they said there was gonna be a kingpin card so they should not have to make a step-up program for the ppl who jumped the gun on a 3090. in my opinion be happy that you are even getting a 3090 to begin with. king pin cards are for hardcore over clockers anyways.

I'm not sure what the full and true demand of a card at such a high price point would be. Given that it "should" come out this month, may work against us with other potential buyers for a 3090 FTW3 Ultra but with the 6800xt and 6900xt coming shortly after, that could help. Really depends on how limited it will be. They should keep making them. I think the 20 series KPE's were released much later but were still "around" until recently. I saw a guy grab an open box from MC for like $900. I don't see many people trying to buy one. Only a few of us in this thread... For now..

360 rad? Ouch. Is that necessary for the OC? Or just for fun because the 360 requirement automatically takes the card out of the equation for me, i already have a 360 on my CPU, can't fit another 360 anywhere... 
 
I feel a 240 would have probably been more than sufficient, just my 2 cents.

A 240 rad is barely adequate to cool a 2080 super.  If your case doesn't have room for a 360 radiator, you probably aren't one of the Kingpin card's intended customers.
