I agree that having the ability to fine tuning capability through evbot is sweet. I wonder why EVGA doesn't make another run of evbots. A limited edition Kingpin evbot with the oled display would probably sell out.
The classified tool renders it pretty much useless and the EVBot caused alot of issues with nvidia. I know a few XOC guys that have them and dont use them.
Why do you never see them for sale if they suck

I just want the HC card to be well built. I don't need any LCD screen or LN cooling switches. I just want a decent overclock on water. I like to use my card for something other than benchmark scores.

Two, the one Jay will be using and the one Steve will be using. But seriously, I think it's going to be pretty sparse. I would think they would put their production work where the fat part of the curve is for profit, 3080 range.

I am pleasantly surprised by the Hybrid/HC pricing for both 3080/90 cards. 0$ markup for Hybrid and $50 markup for HC is pretty good IMO. We'll have to see how the KPE will correlate but might be slightly better than what we've all been guessing(hopefully)

There won’t be any chance of getting a Kingpin at launch. People are willing to pay more for a regular 3090 than what the Kingpin will cost (est $2200). They will be scooped up not by people who want a Kingpin, but by people who want a 3090.

As in a water cooled backplate? Doubtful. I don't think that's a thing in general. It will have that backplate and there will likely be thermal pads from the memory to the backplate, like the FTW3. But I don't think it's going to be a massive chunk of metal like the Optimus blocks.

@fragility_V1: Aquacomputer also built a block + backplate for 3090s where the backplate is connected to the water through heat pipes and I understand that Watercool’s will also be „active“, i.e. watercooled. If the hydrocoppers don’t have that, well, I don’t want to have worry about fans just for the memory there.
