There already is one for the 3090. That BIOS you posted is for a 3080 though.

You could also use the bios in this thread and then use PX1 to update to current rebar version.

lobstar Quite low, yes.
so this is KPE520W vbios right? Does the rebar works on FTW3 card with KPE520W vbios? Doesnt look like it works, but from techpowerup testing it seems like its about 1% increase on average in games anyway (more in games like cyberpunk). Not that big of a loss compare to XOC500W vbios with rebar. I guess depends on whether or not KPE520W can provide more stable clock speed www.techpowerup.com/review/nvidia-pci-express-resizable-bar-performance-test/25.html

So I flashed the kingpin REBAR 520 watt BIOS onto my power balance program card. I can now hit 500 watts which is pretty amazing. I am just not able to complete a PR run with any decent overclock. Anyone else running this combo, what numbers have you been getting in afterburner? Do you have your voltage set statically or are you using a curve? Sorry for the cell phone pic.

I daily +100/+1500 on air right now with that bios on my replacement card. No adjustment to voltage. No curve. These benchmarks were with the window open during a cold night with a manual curve with locked voltage at 1.081v @ 2220mhz +1500mem. https://www.3dmark.com/pr/972071https://www.3dmark.com/spy/19424959 Please ensure your fans are actually spinning. I have to manually set my fans now. When I boot fans 2/3 do not spin at all. Further, after manually setting them to 80% Fan 1 still only spins at about 50%.

That is interesting. I thought it would be like flashing XC3 vbios into FTW3 cards, where PX1 would freak out out when you open it and attempt to flash the right firmware/vbios or something. I dont see it on techpowerup, where did u guys download KPE520W vbios with rebar? this is the 520w no rebar: www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/227017/evga-rtx3090-24576-201110

Hi everyone! First time writing in the forums, and I hope I am not breaking any rules by asking here, instead of making a new thread... But I felt it applied to this thread. I did something stupid, and I don't dare to do ANYTHING, before someone tells me exactly what to do! I was poking around in Precision X1, and stumbled upon the Re-BAR tab... I noticed that the "Graphics VBIOS" said "Update". Stupidly, I clicked it without reading up on what Resizable BAR actually is -_- So I got the following text: NVIDIA Firmware Update Utility Version 5.680.0 Copyright (C) 2018-2020, NVIDIA Corporation. All rights reserved.
The display may go *BLANK* on and off for up to 6 seconds or more during access to the EEPROM depending on your display adapter and output device, it will begin in about 3 seconds.

CONFIRM: You are about to update the firmware of the display adapter. Are you sure you want to do this? Press 'y' to confirm (any other key to abort): y Error: PushPoll Cycle - NVF Writing Payload to uCode Timeout. Payload State: 00000004 Entire pushPollCtrl0: 68003C04

ERROR: Invalid firmware image detected.
Please note this error and contact your display adapter manufacturer's technical support line. It is important that you leave your system ON and NOT reboot until instructed by your manufacturer on how to proceed.
Press any key to exit... So, now I am kinda scared that I screwed things up! Please help me! Specs: *EDIT* I am running on "Normal BIOS", if that makes any difference? I'm guessing I just have to flash the default BIOS from OP: EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 FTW3 ULTRA Default BIOS - ? But if I wanna go XOC, can I go straight for those two? My card is suited in a Alphacool Eisblock Aurora Acryl GPX-N RTX and never been over 50C / 120F

I tried installing the xc3 bios and the kingpin bios and nothing seems to be working, is it because I'm on the OC on the bios slider and I can only update the normal one? Anyone know whats going on?

Should I send my card in? This is from looping Time Spy custom graphics test 2. For those of you that sent your cards for the power issues RMA, how did you package your cards? And for the 30-day new card replacement, where does 30 day cut off? Is it from the time of purchase to RMA approval/defective card shipped/defective card delivered? Thanks.

There are tutorials out there already. I'd rather not pass around unverified edits of software I don't have rights to on the board of the people who make the software. It's not safe for users and I don't want to open myself to any sort of liability. I hope you understand. That said, it's really simple but it does help if you understand basic coding and reverse engineering/debugging tools.

First time (normal RMA) I sent mine back in anti-static bubble wrap and anti-static foam in a USPS box then put that in a slightly larger box filled with two inches of paper packing material. I got back a brand new card in full retail packaging. Second time (special power balance issue RMA) I sent it back in the full retail packaging inside of another slightly larger box again with two inches of paper. I once again got a brand new card in full retail packaging in return.

If you're unsure if your card is suitable for the 1-time RMA, just mail EVGA and send them the screenshots, they will tell you.

I do have an approved RMA for the aforementioned card, just not sure about the hassle of shipping it off. My other card can pull 500 W with no issue, but the PCIe slot power goes over 80 W, will this be a problem in the long run?

Today I received my card from the special RMA - serial starts with 2119, the FTW3 has red lips. I saw the EVGA security sticker on the back plate was broken - is that OK or can it be a problem? UPDATE:It seems that the card is still an old one, because the PCIe Slot Power is still over 78,7 Watt and no new firmware was installed on the OC position (as described by @ EVGA_JacobF ) Attached you will find a screencopy.

Today I was able to score 15186 in PR with the XC3 BIOS and without ReBar. Although I could use the special RMA, I won't do it. The chances seem to be higher to receive a worse card... Once Asus will provide a ReBar Bios for z390 Boards, I'll go for the xc3 ReBar vbios and call it a day.

You know they aren't just swapping these things in this special program because of performance right? Have you seen all the failed cards with black screens then red lights of death?

Well the official statement is, they swap it because of the power draw not because it may brick in the future.

I just shipped my 3090 FTW3 Ultra next day to EVGA as part of the swap program. Interested to see what the card I get in return can do. My original 3090 was from the first batch of cards. Memory overclocking on it was quite bad as well.
