Hi, one question about the brand new GTX 970.

Will the EVGA GeForce GTX 970 be qualified for the Step-up program in the EU?
I'd like to purchase the smaller Maxwell for now and have the Option to upgrade to an GTX 980 clasified.

Thx :)

Who knows.  I just noticed that the US version was updated and that took a couple hours.  Probably best to keep checking from time to time.

Edit: It seems that I was reading the step-up requirements "upside down" and can purchase whichever GTX 970 I prefer to enlist for the step-up program.

However, from what I could read, I need to purchase an extended warranty to be able to enlist in the step-up. Is that correct?
If this is the case, and since EU customers are being offered 5 years warranty for purchases until December this year, does that promotional warranty count as the extended warranty?

    Hi Morphevz,

Yes, if you are in the EU region and purchase a qualifying product that has a free 5 year extended warranty then you will be given the option upon registration to Step-up or you may also just register the product within 14 day of purchase to qualify on any new product from a EVGA Authorized reseller.

Please however understand that the Classified cards are not usually added to the Step-up Program as an option.

    Thanks for confirming, ChrisB.

I understand that the step-up will only provide the base models of the segments. Just needed to clear if I had to buy extra years of warranty on top of the special EU offer. =)
