I used paypal. The evga.com site glitched at the end, but had actually gone through. I ended up calling just to be sure. Then noticed the confirmation emails.

Dang just got home and had an auto-notify from EVGA on the 1080 FTW, checked and nope not in stock...

Hmm, doesn't seem like my order is going through. Not listed on my account nor any emails sent. When I click place order it loads the products main page.
Edit: yea, didn't seem to work. Even went through it twice, now out of stock.
Were you trying to pay with Paypal? It did that to me twice with Paypal, but would let it go through with a credit card. Almost bit the bullet and went for the 1080 FTW, but decided to keep waiting for the 1070 FTW instead.
I tried twice with PayPal and only headaches... Now I paid directly with EVGA and smooth it was. I wish this helps you

Wow. Just got a FTW at Newegg!!! Actually it still allowed me to place a second order, but the 2nd one isn't showing up. I did get a Google protect order confirmation, so after a bit I'll contact Newegg with the order number and see if I can get the 2nd one as well. In less than 5 minutes the first order is already in packaging! paid with Newegg card, so it went thru instantly. Thank you NowInStock and Chrome auto-refresh. Edit - Just got the notice from Newegg that the 2nd FTW was cancelled due to the quantity restriction. Good news is the restriction is only for a 48 hour period. So in a couple days will hunt for the 2nd FTW.

Blinked and all the stock at newegg was gone. And they were only allowing 1 FTW edition to be bought which kinda bites for those of us wanting the SLI setup....

Crazy, Got a purchased confirmation from Newegg after hitting purchase, then received an email saying we regret we are out of stock. Newegg must be receiving <20 or so at a time. I do have a 1080 Strix OC. But I prefer the FTW or Classified.

I think its a great thing that newegg is only allowing 1 card per household to be purchased right now. EVGA should hop on board as well. I missed out on 1 card myself again but GL to ya nonetheless.

Had one Asus in the newgg cart, had a evga. Ftw in the new egg cart.. had 2 evga ftw in the evga cart itself!!
All taken away before my credit card got entered. I'm bout to say to he'll with this and wait for Titan... maybe nvidia can produce enough of those

$724 ? Yikes ! I placed an FTW order with b&h for $679.00 WITH NO TAX AND FREE SHIPPING. Price there has since increased to $699.00. Still though , tax free and free shipping. -Beginning to think they're holding out on my Jun 6th order hoping that I'll cancel. -Higher Prices FTW.

yeah... the fact that they all sold out before they could process your order is one of the biggest lies out there. Somebody must have given newegg an extra $200 "under the table" for them to ship it to them instead of you.
