Yep. Got "alert" at 2:11pm EST, went to order page within 10 seconds, F5ing for ten minutes, never changed from "auto-notify".

I think it was a glitch. I reported it.

Yeah, they should probably limit 1 per househod until stock is more abundant. Oh well maybe next time.

They don't usually update on individual retailers except to say that stock is continually arriving and being distributed.  There are too many factors between EVGA shipping product out to a retailer, the retailer receiving the order and pre-orders taken, to give specific details like that.  You just have to trust that B&H will ship your pre-order quickly once they receive stock.  Still stinks to be waiting though.

info and return, and then you find the card is GONE!!!!
 
I understand the supply/demand issue and that's ok, but change your checkout to HOLD THE ITEMS IN THE CART WHILE PAYING.

Are you guys relying on nowinstock? With products like this with extremely high demand, nowinstock isn't going to help you much. You need to refresh the page yourself or use a plugin to either auto refresh or notify you of changes made to the highlighted section of the page. It's still pretty annoying though. It's difficult/impossible to pull off if you have a job.

Both times I was able to add the card to my shopping cart was through evgas auto notify. I was on the website as soon as I got the notification but by the time I logged into PayPal it was sold out. Which is why I don't think they're in stock

I think a more likely explanation is that the notifications are delayed. The ones from nowinstock are delayed by several minutes.

I'm not using nowinstock though, and as stated before from me and other users, the cards show up as in Stock on evga.com and you're able to go through the checkout process, but at the end of all you get an error that the card is sold out

Why the hell are the Amazon FTW orders delayed according to Amazon?
 
How can you ship enough stock to Newegg for them to ship out to preorders AND sell to new customers but people who ordered May 31st on Amazon have yet to receive any update or dates? Why are you dodging stuff on Twitter? What is the situation and can we have a firm date on when we will likely expect Amazon FTW orders?

Im in the same boat as you.  ordered 1080 ftw amazon may 31st and can get no answers. watching people get them on newegg with no preorder is pretty frustrating
