Ordered a 1070 ACX3.0 (non SC) a few weeks ago, haven't heard a thing :(.

Any updates on the EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW GAMING ACX 3.0? Purchased it through Amazon 1 month ago.

That is a pretty sight! I don't think those are FTW's though. A rep did tell me that the official release has been pushed back but they didn't know when that would be.

I guess I'm in the Amazom queue cause I have that Removed vulgar language preordered.

Those look like plain 1080 acx3.0 cards. The FTW cards from earlier had FTW on the side.

They're still coming up at EVGAs prices for me. Never mind, I looked before you changed it to b&h.

yeah sorry.. I meant B&H.. Not new egg. New egg increased prices on Asus strix cards though. -They're claiming Asus told them to.

EVGA sets the Suggested Retail Price, but the retailer can charge whatever they want. Although if they go too crazy, their stockability might go down.

Wrong. Retailer has to be in compatible price range of other sellers. Price is set by manufacturer (evga) according to supply and demand.

i paid $679 for mine and will be returning my FE to Amazon. i'll be getting over $81 bucks back because Amazon charges tax and Newegg doesn't for me.

Any update for EU caseking.de EVGA SC 1080 availability? They keep changing their dates as it was originally supposed to arrive on 24.06...

Caseking.de is now saying EVGA is denying the previously mentioned delivery date (June 28) and have put all cards on Unknown status.
 
What is going on? Its been weeks and not a single FTW seems to have hit European soil.

That's not true. Manufacturers set the MSRP in the U.S. the retailers can either sell at the MSRP and stay in the manufacturers good graces or choose their own price and risk potentially annoying the manufacturer. Companies like EVGA do direct distribution, thus have more control over official resellers. Other manufacturers sell through distributors and have limited control over pricing.

In the U.S. it is considered illegal to contract fixed pricing. Competition between retailers, especially online, generally causes retailers to use the MSRP in the case of high value items. Underselling your competitor doesn't work very well if EVGA decides to punish you by shipping more cards to your competitor. This prices on goods tend to stabilize. You ever notice how Walmart doesn't sell Apple products at anything other than a few cents off. Apple could just pull most product from the store otherwise.

I'm very patient, but have been patient for exactly one month now, not for the card itself alone, but also accurate information. Some FTWs are being delivered, which is great (for their respective owners), but the EU market seems to be ignored somewhat. Do any FTWs actually exist that are meant for the EU market and if so, where are they? In a warehouse next to a factory, or near a harbour ready for shipping or just lost at sea, maybe even the Bermuda triangle? Some more transparency would be greatly appreciated, shows that we're not forgotten.
