Done both of the things you said. Both my cards seem to be at load now.

Uh, I was able to play two different games. One for about two hours and another one for about forty minutes before I closed it, no crashes so far. Was a bit of input lag on one game but it seems like a decent temporary fix. I've sent a Support Ticket to EVGA/the manufacturer as well so hopefully I hear back soon.

Well sorry for the lack of replies these past couple of days, I had thought/believed that my issue was mostly resolved but apparently not. I had my first proper crash in a couple of days, the screens just froze and my screen went black. I've been in contact with EVGA Support still regarding this issue, they've suggested that it could be my cables/refresh rate exceeding the total limit but my screens continue to flicker but not as frequently so I'm wondering if you know anything about it Sajin?

The flickering could be coming from using a non vesa certified displayport cable, or just a faulty cable. How do the cards work when tested individually? What is the make/model/age of your psu? Does the flickering improve when using other outputs on the video card?

Probably going to test all cables, I've not really tested them individually recently but the make and model of my PSU is the following:

• Corsair HX1000i and it's about less than two months old? I bought it from Scan.co.uk in-store.

try to set up one card and test your furmark to see if it works fine, then get it off your sys and try the other one

furmark is a software that stresses out graphic cards to see if they work fine. You can download it for free and stress your cards one by one

Got it downloaded, done a stress-test for a couple of minutes. Probably going to do a longer one when I go to sleep tonight to see what happens.

Is this enough power to run two Kingpin 1080s and a 7900x? Using outervisions psu calc i would have thought 1200w at a minimum. In the process of a very similar build as i was waiting for the 299 dark to release.

That's been my thought recently due to the new Intel processors drawing so much power, I'm hoping that it isn't the case. If not, I guess I'll have to fork out money for a new one which shouldn't be that much of an issue I just thought I'd be golden.

Something that has just been brought to my attention, to power one of my K|NGP|N cards I've been using a singular cable with two 8-pin headers on it. Now when I had my second card in my computer, I was doing the same for that so it wasn't giving it the required power it needed apparently. Could this be my issue?

Cables have been in all day, not really done any stress tests or any intensive gaming but my core clock and my memory clock is down (Running SLI) but my screens are flickering/looks like white noise for a couple of seconds.

Just a thought for clarification. How are your power cables ran from the PC and Monitors to the wall? Are you using a UPS or power strip?
I had my PLEX server be off a couple of times when I got home. Thought it was a PSU in the server - found out it was the UPS acting up when I was not at home. Just happened to be sitting there one weekend and heard the PSU beep then the server shut down

Pretty sure all the monitors and the computer itself are connected to the power-strip. I don't really have any other plug sockets to use for my PSU, I'm using the other one for a power-line for ethernet.

Get yourself a good UPS - no one should be NOT using one. Yes your  PSU can handle over / under voltage but a UPS can help even things out. If you get a nice one with a digital display you can even monitor wall voltages to make sure you are not running into weird stuff with the house wiring

Uninterruptible Power Supply

Popular brand is APC, there are other out there as well, along with prices that vary greatly

http://www.apc.com/us/en/tools/ups_selector/results.cfm  <search parameters was for 800 watt load

Just looked at what I am using on this computer
https://www.cyberpowersys...duct/ups/cp1350avrlcd/

Edit Note:
After posting this I wonder what affect a UPS would have (if any) with today's 1000+ watt PSU's and now the X299 + some King Pin GPU's during high OC's and benching

Well I wasn't expecting for them to be looking as much as they are, I appreciate the suggestion and I'll look into it in the future though.

Re: EVGA GTX1080Ti K|NGP|N Edition under load? Saturday, December 23, 2017 7:35 PM (permalink)
Get a kill-a-watt from Amazon for cheap to test your outlet.. Will monitor voltage/wattage and a crap load of other stuff. Just plugging it in the outlet with nothing connected will let you know what voltage the outlet is receiving. 220 volts is what you want to see. If it's really high like 226 volts there could be a problem.. if it's runing really low like 210 volts there a problem. Which could happen durring peak hours or something else running in the house at the same time that's draining the voltage.

So basicly it's cheap and can show you what's up.. plus it's neat and when you plug your psu into it, it will show you exactly the wattage your pc is using.. which is nice when your run ing benchmarks as the wattage can get up there on load.
