AndreTM Will this beast kill the upcoming "Titan Black Edition"?
Depend how you look, if you are only for build and drive and don't care for OC than Titan Black Edition is better because more memory. But If you look something what you can't find every year, unusual, rear, powerful than no better KP Classified. When EVGA Europe start to sell Kingpin Edition, 7-10 days after USA??? For me that is worse period of waiting.

1. we don't even know if the Titan "black edition" is real. this thing was going around before the TI was even announced. I highly doubt its real. 2. Be happy. then we got time to see if the kingpin is worth it or not since reviewers will probably be getting them soon.

I thought on that too... NVIDIA no real need now for something like that. They can launch Maxwell even on autumn/winter... Everything go like they plan, GTX780Ti is about 15% stronger than R9-290X on Uber Mode... about 20% than GTX780... AMD didn't even launch all R9-290X non reference models and NVIDIA hold crown, why to destroy selling of Ti 3GB. But I will not wait reviews, immediately when became available I will buy or if I see after 2 weeks no available I will call other place to import where is available. Because I don't know how review look on that, for me GTX780Ti worth and cool and silent GTX780Ti cost reference cards + Accelero Xtreme III, that price is very close to Kingpin Edition because of that WORTH! I non stop see people buy Accelero Xtreme and Hybrid for R9-290, R9-290X, and other cards, that cost more than 100e over card only to cool down.

I just want to know how things are involving the ordering. if its one of the "we need 30 orders to begin production" or "we just build them per order" so that if I decide to buy one in like a month or two three that I wont be able to get one. But then again. maybe its better to wait for the 790(which is way more likely to come than the Titan black)

The main reason I'm interested in it is because I'm a fanboy- er I mean... I've always gotten normal reference versions of all my GPUs, it'd be nice to have a non-reference, and this looks to be the top model for that. (and I need it to go with my precision kingpin classified skin) Speaking of... any chance of a kingpin classified wallpaper?

I simply care about one simple aspect. the best card. be it a dual GPU card or not. I doubt the kingpin will be able to match a 790. but eh then again the 790 will probably be 1000 bucks compared to the 800/850 the kingpin will probably cost. I wonder if there will be a 880 classified kingpin if this one goes well. So I know what card to get for my next over the top build.

I will not to buy card for 2 or 3 months, I want soon for 2-3 week when became available in Europe. I expect to PC shop who sell EVGA cards now in Belgrade tell me soon after card became available in EVGA Europe... "Yes In Europe GTX780Ti Classified Kingpin Edition is available", because that can save me 50-60e if I call someone else who can order if any shop on the world sell. But I would like to buy over BoostlogicPC Belgrade because they give 2 years warranty and 1 year more registered over EVGA site and I can try card in shop because they have nice benchmark tables there and rigs in some kind of show room are they are very nice for customers... But if that is some special king of ordering, some limiting numbers, some I don't know procedure... I hope note... The main reason because I'm interested in this card is because that is unlocked GK110 with one highest boost on market and because if that is true I can enable +50mV over 1212V and for me enough. Really this is most interesting card for me, GTX790 and Titan Black are not option at all example for me. I will install and one CORSAIR white LED fan 120mm on front of case and he will shine enough to show whole backplate and Kingpin sign on card... That would be enough lights plus manu LED diodes on motherboard, sound card, graphic card, memory, H100.

Man and I thought the exchange rate for CAD was a hit, I'm also glad for you it's €765 (although it's still $1,150 CAD) Then again, you live in a much more interesting continent

I am debating on this card... I already have a 780 Ti Ghz from Gigabyte. I am around 1297 stable on core. I am running a very cool case with GPU temps ranging from 30C to 70C on load. Is it even worth it to get a KINGPIN? What could we expect on air cooling for core? PS -- I don't have an evbot either

It's up to you, for me it was a no brainer, don't have a graphics card, wanted something bad ass. For you, selling a product (or keeping it) and getting a very similar product, it's more of a personal decision. 1297 on air rustles my jimmies for what I'm going to get on air off this K|NGP|N and gives me some exciting prospects even for just air, I can't image water or LN2.

That's the thing, I've already gotten a higher stable OC on my Ghz than any review I have seen but even if I squeeze out a little more on the core of a KINGPIN, I doubt it could be much on air... I am open to ideas and suggestions though.

Well that's why it's up to you and a much harder decision, will you get more out of it? I guess that's what you want answered. But I think the aggressively binned chips might help your reasoning along with the custom BIOS(s) and OC guides that have already been shared by Vince. For me even the price was a no brainer, I sold one of my 4930K's to augment the cost

Nope, you might get 1350 on air with the Kingpin, is 50mhz really worth the difference? In game performance would be like 1-3 fps The Kingpin card is designed for extreme cooling, if it's going to be on air, you might as well go with a 780 ti or Classified.

I appreciate this feedback. I was going to pull the trigger but I figured the upgrade would be so minimal on air, it wouldn't be even close to worth it. I am anxious to see what people get around here but we'll see :)

It's tempting but with your clock, it's not going to be worth the swap unless you enjoy pissing money away, heh. I'd at least wait until a review or two plus some people get these and see what they can do. Never believe marketing hype.

PS, is the 790 a rumor or is it a confirmed card set from NVIDIA? I loved my 690 but I participate in lot of betas and alphas without SLI profiles so one GPU from the 690 wasn't even to drive most of my games at 2560x1440. I am just trying to decide on where to go.. but probably sticking with my GB Ghz Edition even though I like eVGA so much better. Sad that the KINGPIN has a lower boost speed than the Ghz for so much more $$$...

dorgill PS, is the 790 a rumor or is it a confirmed card set from NVIDIA? I loved my 690 but I participate in lot of betas and alphas without SLI profiles so one GPU from the 690 wasn't even to drive most of my games at 2560x1440. I am just trying to decide on where to go.. but probably sticking with my GB Ghz Edition even though I like eVGA so much better. Sad that the KINGPIN has a lower boost speed than the Ghz for so much more $$$...
Rumor, at least as far as I know there hasn't been an official announcement.
