I've been waiting so long for this card I've started to reconsider whether it's even worth waiting for this card, lol. I'm wondering if I should just get a FTW3 air...

skyda_Killer this is honestly becoming ridiculous, EVGA delay everything recently. Get your together guys because you're rapidly losing sales/customers. I think a lot of people have either jumped ship to a different brand or are waiting to see what AMD's Vega brings to the table. Volta isn't too far away either at this point.
Hey, no matter who does what, vulgar language is against forum rules. Let's not break the rules because EVGA is taking their time.
Also, every single release people complain they will never buy EVGA again because of how long it takes them to release cards, but the cards always sell out as soon as they release. Basically, those that are saying they will leave are tiny numbers in comparison to those that are willing to wait.
No the reason why they sell out so quickly is because EVGA produce in lots of about 10 lmao. Their manufacturing is incredibly slow and that's exactly why they're always last.

I am happy that EVGA is performing their due diligence to ensure their products are high quality. I am legit confused why the Hybrid version is coming out so much later in the first place, considering how quickly the SC2 Hybrid was released in comparison. And I especially don't know why they moved away from the 1080 shroud design, which was perfect ;)

I agree with you, I don't know why the FTW3 Hybrid is taking so long compared to the others. I mean, I don't know why there is a SC2 Hybrid. It would be simpler just to have a FTW3 Hybid, like they did with the 1070 and 1080, right? Sure, the SC2 Hybid is probably going to turn out to be cheaper than FTW3 Hybrid, but when you are spending $800+ on a graphics card, will a ~$30 dollar difference affect someone's choice?

Not much of a difference other than ICX sensors and RGB as far as I can tell. This is the Hybrid kit for your GPU (1080 Ti FE).

Is there any new info as to where these will be available for order on the 10th? I'm pulling my hair on figuring out which 1080Ti I should go with and this one is a leader. However, evga doesn't ship to where I am, so I'd need to get this through Amazon asap.

I would make sure to buy it from a EVGA authorized dealer or you could be subjected to a second hand warranty.

Last I checked, Amazon.com is on that list. I should be fine as long as I purchase directly from them and not a 3rd party seller. This still doesn't answer my question as to availability for this product.

Ok well... I am officially in need of one of these hybrid coolers now for my 1080ti FTW3. I swapped cases and wow the new case I am struggling with gpu temps vs acceptable noise levels... I had a Thermaltake Core X5 and it was GIANT so I wanted a smaller more traditional style case so I did a whole new build in a Phanteks enthoo evolv glass and man the FTW3's fans go nuts in keeping it cool now. I guess I had a *much* better airflow system in my old build. So yeah I think it's time to go hybrid.

I think alot of people misunderstand the purpose of the step-up program: its designed to give you peace of mind in buying the current GPU generation if another GPU generation is around the corner. For example, in December, if Volta isn't released yet, buyers might be nervous about buying the 1080ti since Volta would be out soon. With step-up, you can get Pascal and if Volta comes out within the time frame you'd be fine.

That's awesome man. I can tell you the ftw3 solo in a case can keep really good temps already. Are you gonna add a hybrid kit later on? That's my plan.

I know man! v happy I'll have to see the temps and see if it throttles at high clock speeds before I jump on the Hybrid bandwagon haha. If all goes well then hopefully I won't need to go hybrid. In the UK it's mostly always pretty cool, minus summer so it's actually not necessary but first let me just play around with it and see how it does! here's some proof for those who probably don't believe that I got it this cheap
