I have a 1080ti fe, and right now have the mem overclocked easily to 12420mhz, can go quite a bit higher, but +700 offset seems more then enough lol. I am under water so im sure that helps things quite alot.

Anyways, how well/far can these new cards mem be overclocked? Any reviews yet?

shoot that's high my memory at some point does better with a lower oc as pushing past it triggers ecc on the vram but it sounds like yours is a beast. But I am interested if these new 12ghz chips have anything left in the tank oc wise

Receiving my Elite Black from Newegg today. Will benchmark tonight. Hoping the Elite will hit 13Ghz plus on the memory.

Why has the evga ftw 3 elite no thermal pads on the card from the factory? I see lot of video's that the reviewers on youtube must do by its own adding a layer of thermal pads on the card.

Is on the new elite card from the factory thermal pads on the cards?

Provide links. The FTW3 comes with pads, so I think you are mistaken.

well, having had 7 ftw3 elites and ending up with a non matching pair, this is slightly frustrating, i take it there will be no step up option ? oh well, finally fitting my waterblocks to mine today so i guess ill soon see where i can get to on my old crappy ftw3 elites, i mean, i get that new tech comes out, but i guess i now feel what titan x owners felt with the xp, i guess its more frustrating as i got them to watercool and im only now doing it when the new version is out :*(

Any update on EU availability? The cards (black and white) have been added to the EU shop today but they are out of stock?

some very bad luck lol, one card wouldn't hit stock speeds, a couple were cooking themselves, one had a bad fan and one of a pair had bad memory, i was unable to figure out which of the 2 it was due to it being intermittent so rma'd both cards.

Are these ftw3 elite being outfitted with MT58K256M321JA-120:A GDDR5X memory like the ones found on Titan Xp or do they only have overclocked 11GHz GDDR5X with little to no headroom to push further?

they have new chips that are 12ghz chips but. I am still waiting to see someone who gets one to overclock the memory and see if there is room to do that on these new moduals

Just look at how Titan Xp memory can overclock if these ftw3 have the same memory as Titan Xp, my Titan Xp memory can OC up to 13.1GHz without artifact while running 3D mark benchmarks however I get lower graphic scores compare to when I run it with a memory clock of 13GHz.

ya don't push memory to the max it makes ecc kick in and has to spend time fixing small errors and that's why you get a lower score
Try running 12.9 on the memory and see where ecc is on as there is a point on these memory chips we're lower oc can do better. But it seems they have the same Micron MT58K256M321JA-120:A
One guy bought one here and was going to report back but then he got it never reported and suddenly had a king pin edition coming that he posted about so we assumed it didn't oc well for him

I've had little time to do much testing but at first try I was able to get mine to 13GHz stable. Just for kicks I tried 14GHz but it crashed right away and my screen went blank forcing me to reboot. Not sure if it matters but this was on Normal bios and not OC (they renamed Master and Slave, FYI)

sounds like it has the same oc room. Like I tell lots of people make sure to test lower then13 ghz as higher is not always better with ecc ddr5x
