hau.tang88I wonder how can they charge me $30 to ship it from Anaheim to San jose which is only 300 miles away but it only cost 13 pound for some people to get it ship to Europe. Its because you'll get it now, and we'll get it by the end of september. :')

This might have been asked and answered all ready but I tried a search and nothing came up, After 9 pages of reading on this topic I gave up looking for a answer and I'm taking the easy way and asking the question, So I apologise if its a repost. I would like to know If I remove all the PCI back plates can I mount my GPU vertically in this case as I hate looking at back plates, when the front of the GPU is so much better. regards Dave

Because we are getting charged from our local hub locations, in my case Manchester which is 259 miles away from where I live. It would be a bit unfair for the rest of the world to be charged shipping rates from Anaheim hence why EVGA set up local shipping hubs throughout the world.

They will charge it to PayPal who works as a middle man and they charge your card . Nothing else to do but keep a eye on your PayPal it usually takes it a while to show up on your CC from PayPal .

Its an ATX case, how would you propose you get the video cards mounted vertically? Using an extender cable?

Yes..and cable.. im also thinking we may be able to use the sliding airflow door next to the pci slots to be able to do this, and then be able to close the partially on the end of the card, kind of like if you put a box fan in a window. Maybe i can fabricate something here at work.. after all were all about metal working and milling... should be easy.

yes in my current build I'm using a pci extender cable like this amazon.com/EZDIY-Express-Flexible-Extension-Card-25cm/dp/B01CEIEWU4/ref=pd_sim_147_2?ie=UTF8&dpID=41Ajowi-0OL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&psc=1&refRID=JRTDZ96V1DZNJ0TS36GE the card faces me and draws air in through the hols in the side of my Corsair C70 Vengeance Case not ideal regards dust but it dose not bother me cleaning my system out once a month, well till I saw this case and was like "dam that's a nice a case" the only thing It needs is a vertical mount point. ;) ps had to take the dremel to get the IO to fit for the GPU

The left side is close enough to install the rad back there, from what I can tell. I will find out tonight, since I'll be installing my Gigabyte waterforce in the same way, and I'm pretty sure my tube lengths are even shorter than yours. Main issue, though will be lack of access to IO ports once its installed there. My other concern is being able to screw the rad into that area, I don't think the back panel comes off to get access to the other side, which I would need in order to screw the whole rad/fan situation in.

Can one or two of you guys who have your cases now or in the next day or so put together a little answer sheet on everything we wanted to know from the reviews that didn't get answered? For example radiator size, what's the ideal size for both top and right. I don't think thickness was ever confirmed either. Noise, vibrations in the retail version. The PWM fan question And the many others that have cropped up over the life of this thread. Cheers guys.

woojyee The only concern now is hoping UPS doesn't damage the case as they are not too careful with the heavier packages...
I actually trust UPS more than USPS on shipping. The box came in another box so I would say it was well protected except for a fork lift piercing it. I like the case so far, only regret I have is cancelling the DG-86 that I also had on pre-order. The toughest part was when I was taking out the top part because I didn't know if I was going to break something. Overall this case is very nicely bult with some well thought of things that do not exist on another cases but with all products there are pluses and minuses. I never intended it to be for a full blown custom loop but I'm sure it's possible because it has a lot of room. I have one evga 1080 ftw in it so far on an x99 build, waiting for the 2nd 1080 ftw on Monday. It took about 4 hours to install the x99 build into it last night. I snapped a pic but can't post it on here unless I upload it somewhere else apparently.

list all the questions and I'll look at the case later and try to answer the ones that I can. As far as noise, I was actually impressed how quiet it was with all the fans that came with the DG-87.

As far as noise, I was actually impressed how quiet it was with all the fans that came with the DG-87. Excellent, thank you. My main one for now is radiator size. I'm in the UK so still have a while before the case reaches me and am undecided whether to buy a watercooling kit like a XSPC RayStorm Pro Photon or an EK kit or to build one from scratch. Either option I need to decide which radiator size to choose 280 (140mm Fans) or 360 (120mm Fans) for the XSPC kit and I assume the same applies for EK as well. Should I remove the single 140mm fan that comes with the case to fit a larger radiator or leave it in and fit a smaller one. But with the thickness question not answered (that I know of) in the reviews I'm not sure which to go for. Never done watercooling before but this case needs it. For now it will just be CPU and maybe motherboard. Thanks again.

radiator size is states to be able to hold up to three 120mm or three 140mm fans. so radiator sizes of 120, 140, 240, 280, 360, and 420 are all supported on both top and right side. someone also said that there is 60mm from the top of the motherboard to the bottom of the fan housing, so there a max radiator thickness of 45mm would be safe. remember the fans are in the upper part of the case and not underneath the radiator. as for the front i would assume that 45mm would be a safe bet as well but would like for someone to verify.

Thanks. Yep, That's what I'm after, the verification. I have a notepad open with that 60mm written on it that had been gathered from this thread I think but several people have asked this question so hopefully someone can answer it soon.

I'll verify all the sizes for you guys but from what I can remember last night there is massive amounts of space in the front for a super thick radiator but that would depend on if you are going to put a tube res there or not. I have a few tube res and radiators around and will get a good idea on it. All this would depend on the thickness of the fan also. One thing about the upper slot, not sure about the front slot. It is not flat metal where you mount the radiator on I guess done for structure strength. With that said don't expect your screws to fit that come with AIO units because it is going to fall short most likely, my AIO Silverstone sure did but I do a ton of rigs with full custom loops and such so I have plenty of spare parts including different size screws and lengths. I estimate the mounting thickness to be around 4mm because of it. Again I will verify the top and front.

That's a good question. I created a thread asking the same question. It feels like I am going break the top plastic cover.

Probably there are some on the way. Apparently they make them in California and would have to ship the long way around.
