slatepaws Is this yet another liquid cooler that is USELESS without windows controlling software? I do not run windows on my main machines, but this is the only liquid cooler that supports am4 and ryzen at the moment.
I use my Corsair Hydro H100i V2 without Corsair link software. Temps on my I7-7700k are just fine with it running on default quiet mode. I'm sure other AIO mfg will offer AM4 bracket very soon too.

vsg28 I am surprised you guys went with 120 and 280 mm rad versions. Everything I know about CLC sales globally suggests that 240 mm rad versions are the most popular and bang for the buck relatively.
Will the fans be available separately?
If my case had the room I may have gone 240 but with two other AIO Radiators (120) installed it is a tight fit. Have two GPU Radiators in Front and my current 120 CPU Radiator in the Rear works really well on i7-4820K CPU should work very well. The AIO Hybrid All are set in Push/Pull. And if you think about it if EVGA did not make a 120 the someone would have posted why did you not make a 120. I do like 280s as well but their are not enough cases out their really support them. (Corrected for MSim)
Do more cases really support 280mm over 240mm radiators? I wouldn't be able to fit 280mm radiator at the top of my Corsair 450D case due to plastic I/O cover on my motherboard, it would also block me from using optical drive in the top 5.25 bay. No problems with 240mm radiator.

At 2200 RPM, the static pressure looks good on paper compared to some competitors. http://www.evga.com/produ...aspx?pn=400-HY-CL12-V11- Does EVGA plan on selling the fans separately? Yes, per EVGA_JacobF 2- As for noise, I wonder if adding vibration dampening rubber around the housing would help reduce it. Or is the noise caused by design (curved housing)? The design of the housing does seem to decrease the maximum air flow it can generate. 3- Fan seems to be connected directly into the pump head/heatsink. Will there be a model that support PWM? The fan seems to support DC only through the USB header. (specs sheet needs more details)

Since you [EVGA] made a case that supports two 420mm radiators, do you plan on making 420mm? I would be really interested if so, especially for the quick disconnect versions.

think ill wait for a bit on this to see where the software goes, hardware wise im sure its top notch since astek actually makes it. but the power powering both fans and pump does worry me a bit.

The 280 looks to have two separate fan headers. So, pump on one fans on the other? The 120 looks to have one fan header for all control.

Yeah, a fat 420mm would have been nice for the DG series cases, not too excited about these late to the party products.

You could plug the USB connection into a windows machine to configure the speed and cooling curve you desire then unplug it, it stores the setting in the water block, so once you set it you dont need it connected to USB.

the two headers are for the fans to plug into, one plug to the motherboard according to jacob. would much rather it be a sata power plug with just the speedsense wire going to the cpu header less chance of power issues that way, besides the link software that is one of the reasons i chose corsair last time.

It would be nice if EVGA also made thicker versions of the radiators like Corsair does. If EVGA made a thick 420mm quick disconnect, I would buy two of those as fast as I possibly could.

Most of the All-In-One liquid coolers are using the same OEM pump. 1-3ºC temp difference isn't going to make any real world difference. People using AIO coolers don't use them to run benchmarks all day long. dakon Reviews look good. I also do not watch JayTwoCents any more. He simply supports whoever gives him the most product to "test".
If JayTwoCents wants free products to review/sell, hes forced to brown nose companies like EVGA. If he spoke the truth and compared products from each mfg, he will end up blacklisted like [H]OCP. Hardware mfg just want reviewers to be cheerleaders for them, they don't want you pointing out quality control issues or lack of features other products have.

These coolers are great and long waited. I expect very similar performance to NZXT Kraken series. Off course different pump speed or fans could influence on that. Personal recommendation EVGA CLC 280 + 2x CORSAIR ML140 400-200RPM. 140mm fan on 2000 RPM push a lot of air. They should drain max from this radiator and I would not be surprised to customers success to cooldown their Intel i7-6900K and i7-6950X on mid to mid/high OC and only few degrees above EKWB Predator. In past I had some little aversion on 280mm radiators, mostly because best fans were 120mm. Now there are great fans with nice speed on 140mm and no reason any more to ignore 280mm radiator, they cool better at least 15% or more than 240mm radiators. Top of my 650D need modification for triple radiator but it's PERFECT for 280mm. I have ready holes on top for 240mm radiator, 280mm radiator or 200mm radiator.

Looks good. Sleeved tubes is a nice touch. Couple of questions if anyone from EVGA could kindly clarify: (1) If you install without the software (and without the USB connector) the default power is what - 100% pump and 100% fan(s)? ..or is there a default fan curve / pump speed in the pump firmware itself? (2) The software includes a user-defined fan speed curve/graph, much like existing GPU software - correct? (3) Assuming #2 is correct, does the user-defined fan speed graph also control the pump speed, or is there a separate setting for that? (4) I believe you can plug it all in, set up the fan speed graph, LED etc. however you like it, then uninstall the software and remove the USB connector and the pump will still retain whatever the last customized options you used were, is that correct? Much appreciated. Hope to see the Titan XP AIO cooler out soon...

I read that link, however, it doesn't match the product description on Amazon, and is VERY misleading, in regard to the "NEW" EVGA Flow Control software. I didn't see "coming soon" anywhere in the description. "The EVGA CLC 280 LIQUID CPU Cooler has arrived! This new liquid cooler from EVGA gives you incredible performance, low noise, and robust software controls. The full copper water block pulls the heat from your CPU to the radiator, where newly designed fans, featuring Teflon Nano Bearings, effortlessly disperse the heat. The CLC 280 offers premium sleeved tubing and fully controlled RGB LED to provide a sleek look. Monitor and control the CLC 280 with the new EVGA Flow Control software, which allows you to monitor and change pump speed, fan curve, and RGB LED! With the CLC and EVGA Flow Control, take back control of your temperatures and peace of mind." What is the optimal RPM to run my pump at? Should I let my bios set the speed of the two radiator fans?

Not Really Misleading to Soon would be more correct for Amazon. After I ordered mine on Amazon they removed it then put it back ok with Zero Stock But Amazon has been known for this but at the same time It would not make real since to post on Amazon Coming Soon. Amazon should have waited to post but like everyone here always tell EVGA "I Want It Now" I never Order from Amazon without First going to the OEM Site in this case EVGA to review what their website says about a product. Never do I order blinding from Amazon.

SARDOG Thanks for the reply, It's Registered... I've looked everywhere for the EVGA FLOW CONTROL software.. "coming soon" Please tell me you're kidding?
Did you not read this page? It has been their from Day One. I should get mine tomorrow, but no real need for the software ATM. You can Still Use It Without The Software.
thats just insane to release it with out the software ready, while i like evga products i think they really muffed this one. why tout features that dont work when you buy the product?
+1 I'm disappointed that EVGA started selling this SYSTEM before it was complete, and falsely advertised new flow control software that isn't even available for download.
